Former Mike's waiter checking in. Cannot say enough about how carefully these things are made. They are always fresh, the original owner's son is now the owner, and they could use the business. Lots of their business has been sucked into the on campus dining halls. I speculate unless something changes fast, Mike's won't be around much longer.
My guess is that we probably can take as many as 8 but it's more realistic to think we will have unfilled scholarships this spring. We should be able to make sure some walk-on's are taken care of.
Yeah, I agree but I'm not sad about losing him at all. I won't be keeping up with his career or life. I think he more reflected who Frank was but did not have success on his side of the ball. Good luck to him and all but I'm not tremendously affected by it.

He was a nice guy and I think he showed a lot of character. That being said, I don't really have any heartburn over losing him.
The players all rave about him. Can't find the quote online (maybe it was an old tweet, idk), but I recall Logan saying he would have transferred if Stiney wasn't retained. I also remember Tyrod being a big fan of Stiney the person (maybe not the play caller).
Edit: apparently Deangelo was a big fan too.

EVERY Raising Canes, and this is not an exaggeration, uses parking lots and land plots that are hard to get into. Whether driving through another parking lot or making strange turns. This was true at 3 Canes in Columbus Ohio, two in Charleston SC and one in Houston I have been to.
I remember when it was a Krispy Kreme...good times! Spudnuts is better though. A buddy of mine and I would go there for breakfast before school after we got our drivers licenses.
I wondered the same thing about the traffic issues, but I feel like it has been there for a solid 10 years or so?
Most were able to get rescheduled, some like Pigrome have to come mid week now which isn't ideal, unfortunately two of those who didn't reschedule are Pidgreon and Johnson
Best news I've heard since all those OV's got cancelled. I heard some were rescheduled, but haven't looked into it too much.

Pigrome will be on campus in a few hours, and apparently has a great relationship with Wiggins
Ideally a redshirt would be nice but i think it would be hard for them to do. Nijman has the most upside of any of our OL IMO and I think he will add some good weight this offseason. I wouldn't be surprised to see some rotation on the OL especially if we are moving with tempo often.
Odd that Foster isn't there.

The combination of Maryland losing Dwayne Haskins, Pigrome missing his official to us, and having an official with Maryland this weekend all make me feel like we're gonna miss on him. Which is unfortunate because I really want him.
so glad they started serving dinner. I could eat three meals a day at that place...for like a week then I'd be fat and broke, but very very happy.
I will admit to being one that never liked Stiney for OC. Not ever. He may have had a few moments, but I never saw how he earned the position. I will also admit that I always liked him as a person, and it was obvious the players and coaches seemed to really like him as well. I think he just became a lightning rod for a growing fan dissatisfaction with VT's perceived offensive conservatism and disfunction. He'll be a happy camper at JMU and they'll probably love having his experience there.
