If it opens up avenues of communications with future prospects and "Hokie" high school talent pools (think Del Ray Beach, FL/Atlantic HS), I am good with it. This is more about rebranding the program instead of 2016.

Have done the Creeper trail several times. The bikes and shuttle are affordable, the glide downcreek follows the trout stream all the way down, there are indeed several nice places to stop and hike or hang out by the water. There was a snack bar about half way down for burgers and dogs, and it is absolutely a pretty ride back to town. If you have the time, you can't go wrong with this one.
After they enroll at Virginia Tech, you never hear a player say Virginia Tech University or the University of Virginia Tech.
So the morale of the story is they must all enroll at Virginia Tech. Problem solved.

# | What returning offensive ball handlers have the most to gain and most to lose under Fuente? I agree with your thought but Sam's effort and knowledge make up for a lot of size issues. With everything he brings to the table I can't imagine there isn't a role on the team and H-Back seems to fit the bill. That being said Fuente has said he will form his offense around his personnel so maybe we will see some sort of FB role this season.
Also when Sam was being created, he was made to be a bit smaller in the interest of fairness.

Perhaps VT is spending valuable time and resources on pipe dreams. It costs less to do these days, but there's still a cost.
Then again, I'll defer to the coaches. It's their neck on the line.

I can't tell if the girls in the background are disgusted or just really concerned...
Anybody else excited to see some Bills games next season just for the purpose of seeing Rex and Rob together on the sidelines? That should be interesting.
Another option for those of you planning to bring kids is Just Jump in Johnson City, which is only about 20-25 minutes from BMS. It's an indoor trampoline park that includes an obstacle course, Kiddie Zone, dodge ball, basketball, large open jump area and gladiator pit. The facility is designed for all ages.

It's even called a "non-binding commitment" which according to your definition is an oxymoron. They're using the verbal "commitment" to reserve a scholarship spot. If they wait while pursuing other options another player could "commit" and potentially lead to the scholarship now being off the table.
We can argue all day long whether we agree with the fact that a recruit can essentially use the "commitment" as a place holder until something better comes along. Personally, I have no issue with it given the impact finding the best situation will have on their future. I can understand that many others would have a huge problem with it. We can agree to disagree.
Amongst the ACC he was getting recognition, but the ACC was really bad in terms of WR compared to the rest of the country. Ford was first in the ACC in a few categories, but wasn't even close to that nationally.
I am equally as hype,

Friday has me like.....
We knew this staff would shake up recruiting but I don't know if anyone predicted this level of excitement or early success.
Things I love:
1. Foster & Fuente on the trail together a lot. They are going to know each other really well by spring.
2. Increased footprint but still focusing on key areas like the 757, (but also MD andNJ needed a retooling)
3. We will always have to fend off national powers in the 757, but Bronco Mendenhall doesn't strike me as a threat in that area....
There's a clear choice for the kids that want to stay in state, and product on the field will underscore that!
