Earlier in the year the talking heads were saying possibly 10 teams from the ACC. So if we finish in the top half we are in, IF you believe the talking heads. Which I don't. But it is a huge step forward.
Not to mention the points that VT got off of all those turnovers. That stat was the key to the entire game.
New Jersey is a critical area for the Hokies to rebuild their recruiting footpring. Many good Hokies came from Jersey in the Big East era. It is an under-appreciated area for talent.
DB Nygel King will be visiting on January 22nd.

Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout. Watching Dell Curry shoot threes before they were worth three was a lot of fun, too.
yeah reb played against zabian dowdell a couple nights ago too he had a picture with them guarding each other saying when is VT going to put them in the rafters. what do you guys think? think they should have their jerseys hanging up in cassell?
Do I believe Tyrod deserves more money than his current contract states? Most definitely, yes.
But I also understand the logic that the Bill's GM (Whaley) is currently using:
- Cap Space is currently an issue (no money to throw at Tyrod)
- Higher probability of being injured than avg. QB (Whaley: "He needs to learn to slide")
- No proven 4th Quarter comebacks (see 12/16/15 article: Taylor's late game struggles)
Despite those impressive numbers, there is one area in which Taylor has failed to come close to producing the way a "franchise" quarterback is expected to – fourth-quarter comebacks.
Those are defined by leading an offensive scoring drive to either the tying or go-ahead points when starting a possession down by one score, ultimately resulting in a win. Taylor has had three opportunities to do that in the past four weeks, but failed in each instance.
Is he statistically a top 10 NFL QB? Yes but statistics don't necessarily tell the whole story. The Bill's intermediate passing game wasn't on par with the average team. It seemed that the next play was either going to be a run or a 30 yard pass to Watkins. (They led the league in most TDs from outside of the red zone). It wasn't like the Bills were relying on Tyrod's passing game either. He's ranked 20th in passing TDs, 24th in pass attempts and 30th in pass yds./game.
Tyrod is a smart guy and I'm sure he understands the cap space, team limits, etc. I'm sure he also knows that he can't be the only threat on offense and still succeed. He can't demand a Flacco size contract and not expect to be given a Raven's talent level offense.
Honestly, I think the should restructure his current contract, same length, and give him a little more money. To at least show that they appreciate what he's doing and if he keeps getting better, next year we'll make you "our guy" and see that you're paid as such.
Wow, this explains a lot. I figured he had to be getting some NBA offers, but I also had no idea he was making that kind of money over there.
Malcolm has had several offers from the NBA over the years, most often from the Houston Rockets but none of the offers were serious enough to outdo the offers from Euro teams. One example the Rockets offered Malcolm a three year $900K deal when his current Russian team offered him 6.4 million Euros for a one year deal. Why would he agree to such a paltry offer from the NBA?
he might run fast but can he play his nuts off??
yeah go ahead and quote that shit too
Yeah, he tried. Think he ended up at UCLA or somewhere out left. Pitts also pursued the rap career. That was a ways back so nice pull. +1
Motley is excited about his return.

Nice. Then we can get back to the old school helmets because we'll just fix it after it happens.
Well, won't happen this draft anyways, since Chad Kelly is staying for his senior year
Chad Kelly is Jim's nephew
It actually does help. For me, anyway.
Uggh, he's visiting GT on 1/29. Please don't go to GT.
I only know about it from the 30 for 30: Elway to Marino. He was a great player and I have nothing against him, just pointing out that athletes ego's are a funny thing sometimes.
Okay (admits I didn't know that - hey I'm an engineer), but it is also Minnesota.
As a very casual fan of the Bills and without all of these interwebs I can't seem to find my way out of I was not aware of any of that. That being said he did "play his nuts off" to quote someone much more football savvy than myself that was talking about someone else altogether. Have a leg.

We must really want him if we offered him 9 times!!
