Scott Loeffler must be salivating...but how many times do we run the sweep before we pull the fake? Bristol?
Fuente seems like a great hire but I will reserve judgement until he has coached a season or two against the big boys. Keeping most of the D coaches should help his transition and most of his moves and ideas so far seem like winners so he should do alright.
Not sure on that one yet, hopefully it will come with time.

Ok. Finally saw it. Thoughts: YES it is vastly superior to the prequels, unfortunately (for me) it does not capture the wonder, amazement and awe of the Original Trilogy in terms of the characters or plotline.
Second, even without reading wikidpedia and getting involved in discussions (and I'm happy to say that I successfully achieved that) I KNEW that Han was gonna get killed. You can't have this story without good v evil. Kylo Ren chose the dark side. I get that he was conflicted (& admired that as his character) but agree that he was pathetic against two UNTRAINED newbies. That IS a major inconsistency in the story arc for me.
Lastly, whoever I debated with was correct about Luke & Ani's old saber. But I still believe it is unimportant. I mean a magic saber that only obey's one master? Yeah ok. Not really getting sucked into that one. I mean what about Vader's saber, or Darth Sidious', or Luke's saber from ROTJ, or Obi-Wan's (see where I'm going here with this?)?
Oh and one more thing, I thought there was a trailer that got released sometime last year or very early this year where it showed what looked to be two force figures with lightsabers (one green, the other red) that came together in a clash. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? I've tried to find it again and have thus far been unsuccessful.
Ryan Williams is actually a perfect example of a guy who made the right choice by leaving early. He had little to no chance of raising his draft stock by returning for another season. The questions surrounding him coming out of college weren't his ability; they were around his size and durability. Williams ended up getting drafted early second round and made nearly $5M in his brief NFL career. His short career had zero to do with his draft position and everything to do with his inability to stay healthy. There's really no reason to think he would have had a better pro career or made more money by coming back to Tech for another season. If anything, he could have done much worse-- if he had suffered that ruptured patella tendon at Tech rather than during preseason of his rookie NFL season, he likely would not have been drafted at all. At that point, his best case scenario would have been trying to collect on a loss-of-value insurance policy, which, if successful, probably would have paid out about ~$1M. Even that would not have been a slam dunk, as no player ever successfully collected on a loss-of-value policy until this season.
If I were going to get reminder tattoos, my triceps would be an ill-advised location. How often do we enjoy a casual look at the back of our arms?
It would be like getting a "Stretch-My-Wings" butterfly Jersey plate and claiming it's to remind me I should be "open minded" and "try new things."

Plane tickets TO the game weren't cheap. I can't imagine a last minute ticket from Shreveport being any cheaper. Particularly for a 22 yr old college senior.

It's not about boosting his numbers. It's about boosting his talent level. Numbers may get you drafted, numbers don't make you stick on rosters.
But not every college player has a chance to make an NFL roster.

He got signed, got a $400k pay day. $400k immediately was probably better than a half mil a year later. He could afford to go back to school if he needs. If he stayed in school, he may not have been able to afford food for his family.
Someone should rank college football websites.

FWIW, it was a big moment for the catering staff when he said "thank you" for the first time this season. To say there isn't at least some truth to Jander75's viewpoint would be incorrect based on this simple truth: the guy who isn't nice to the waiter is not a nice person.
From what I've had the chance to listen, he--like Bill--likes to maintain some semblance of "impartiality" as a broadcaster. But for Jon it's to such an extreme when he gets really excited I can't tell which team he's yelling for ("Touchdown [fill in the blank]!", now wait for Mike's "Ohh Nooo!" to determine which team scored).
Bill had a certain "You should see it from out here!", the Old Man from A Christmas Story-type longing to his voice on a play gone wrong for the good guys, reserving the JockJams Medley call for anything thrown near Danny Coale.
