Good for recruiting with his 757 ties. Confusing role reversal with the assistants though.
I'm guessing this means Shane is out?
Staff is not compete as far as I know.
There is still an open defensive coaching slot.
The font choices are reminiscent of a 10-year-old being shown PowerPoint for the first time. WordArt does not make everything better!
Ok, our staff is complete. Who is recruiting coordiinator?
This is a burden that we're willing to bear!
...I'll see myself out after that one.
Holmon Wiggins was a RB as a player and now coaches WRs.
Zohn Burden was a WR as a player and now coaches RBs.

This sounds good as a headline, but if you think about it, to me all that this means is that teams will be much less likely to schedule difficult out of conference games.
For example this year, we already got penalized for playing a tough out of conference schedule (if we just scheduled and ODU instead of Ohio State or ECU, we would be in the Belk Bowl instead of NC State). NC State was rewarded with a much better bowl game than us even though we beat them and they played Troy, Eastern Kentucky, ODU and South Alabama. We played 2 big ten teams and ECU, and because we lost 2 of those we get relegated to a tier 3 bowl game.
I agree with the people above that say we should address conference scheduling first, and if we are really going to the 7 win , we should address strength of OOC scheduling as well.
Also, what is the incentive for a bowl game to shut down? If the number of bowls has been consistently rising, it must be profitable in some manner. So, the bowls would never voluntarily shut down. This whole discussion seems like a non-starter.
So I posted this on the "Fuente Staff" thread but now it's a little more appropriate here...
Ok so here's my theory.
CJF arrives and he is either unsure of Burden at first or he just plans to wait to announce Burden for whatever reason. There's one problem. We have a huge class of WR's committed with more that we're still going after and we have no WR's coach in place. To address the issue CJF goes ahead and names Wiggins the WR's coach for recruiting purposes even if that's not where he was going to stay.
Now this may be a long shot but I'm predicting that here in the near future Wiggins and Burden flip roles as to better suit their collective experience (unless Burden has RB experience I don't know about).
Disclaimer: I'm probably just a complete crackpot but if I'm right then I claim #sauce status (as we learned with the coaching search anyone can be a #sauce no matter what they claim).
I doubt anything will come from this. Bowls exist to make money. Those sponsoring the bowls will invite whatever teams they like that they think will make them money. The schools want revenue from those bowl games. All the ACC is doing is (symbolically) indicating that they think fewer of their teams should be showcased, fewer should be given extra practice time, and there should be a smaller bowl revenue incoming. This makes no financial or logistical sense to me.
From a football purist standpoint, I can see where this is coming from. I don't care to have losing teams go to bowls, but whatever. Indeed, the best games are usually between top teams, but you know what, battles between 6-6 teams can be pretty damn entertaining. If given the choice between sitting around aimlessly during time off around Christmas or watching two teams that I've never seen play duke it out on a Tuesday afternoon, I take the latter every single time.
They might be the perfect American family. Scout is unbelievably cute.
The 757 is ours for the taking, y'all.
Sexy.

And UVA just lost arguably their best 757 recruiter, Chris Beatty, to Syracuse. I like this move a lot.
Thanks for the info.
Big body, solid offer list.
Interesting that Zohn listed as lead recruiter with Foster.
I hope Fuente/Foster can impress him more than Durkin/London.
French, as I told you, we struck out eeling for the big mommas yesterday, managing only a couple of "lukewarm" bites and one spiny dogfish, but the mouth of the Rappahannock was alive with birds and schoolies yesterday. On Wednesday, we jigged up 40-45 schoolies up to about 22" on bucktails and jigging spoons near the Rt. 3 bridge in less than four hours of fishing. While some captains on the radio were reporting fish up to maybe 32", most were complaining about numbers of 10" fish. One guy said there were so many around his boat that he wished he had a fly rod, but when another guy came on and said he had a fly rod on board and asked where those fish were, the radio stayed dead silent. I'd say that 95%+ of the boats out there are trolling, but jigging can not only be more fun, but sometimes more productive. While we caught some of those little fish jigging, most of our fish were over 16" and we had a good number of keepers, had we been keeping. My friend, Dave, is out eeling again today with his brother, so we may get a hero shot from him. He's consistently productive with 40+lb fish every year, and most trips except when I go with him. I'm starting to entertain a notion that I may be a jinx with eels, but I won't dwell on that notion.
I do not know what the other Power5 is doing but I think this is a class move by the ACC.
Withers receiving a 2nd interview Sat. at ECU.
One more position to fill more than likely on the defensive side of the ball.
Running backs coach eh? Hope he has a boxing glove on a stick sitting around.
Seriously though, I'm glad we're keeping Zohn in any capacity. He's a recruiting asset, and has done a good job developing our WRs in his first year on the job.
We should just shut down lots of the programs too as they are perpetually mediocre and it is awful to have kids learning life lessons about being mediocre. If you don't play for Alabama, you are just learning how to lose.
So long UVA Football

It certainly seemed to be the issue when Brewer went down against OSU. And when Motley was the starter, we saw Lawson doing the exact same thing Motley had been doing when Brewer was the starter.

What you dont like the
Kuerig K-Cup Bowl
Beef 'O' Brady Bowl
Pepperidge farm remembers when there were less bowls bowl
Famous Idaho Potatoes bowl
Who knows what kind of companies will sponsor shitty bowls in the future?
With all this ad revenue, can there be a TheKeyPlay bowl next year!?
