*shrug* just stating that he's gone is enough in my opinion. Not sure what the part about him being pissed is supposed to add. It's irrelevant and I think its unnecessary to comment on people's private reaction to being fired. Let them comment publicly on their own terms.

Clemson fans were all too happy to retweet articles pointing out the illegal formation which I have never, ever seen called, so much so that I don't believe refs even know that's a rule about being inside the 9 yard mark. I think it was a terrible call, nowhere near offsides, but Clemson fans are incredibly stubborn and annoying so there was no use trying to reason with them that maybe, JUST MAYBE they were on the right side of a bad call. Boomer Sooner.

And remember tickets are free! After 4 years of frustration being in the HT pep band for the gam it is awesome to see Wolfe turn It around.

From winning 2 games at the ACC tourney last year to this hot start hopefully at least a handful of ACC wi are in the cards and moving out of the cellar.

OK that's a great angle. Even his hand doesn't look anywhere near the line. I'm in the not offsides camp now.

However, UNC was still lined up illegally (uncalled), then committed an uncalled targeting foul on the Clemson player recovering the ball to knock it loose.

So ultimately it was the wrong call, but it was a good call in the sense that the correct outcome was achieved.

yeah I'm not seeing it. I think it's pretty clear that UNC was not offsides. I can't speak to the other alleged penalties (illegal formation; targeting) but I honestly don't see how anyone can make a case for this particular call being correct. Or even close.

Close, but i highly doubt #30's head is 3 feet in front of his knee, which is behind the 34 yard line.

If his head is more than 3 feet beyond his foot, then judging from the angles, that guy is about 10' tall.

I still love how many Hokies Fans were at his last game in Lane North. I was one of them and it was so awesome to see the stadium over half full after all the boohoos left the stands. What an awesome occasion.

This game will likely stay fairly close throughout but if things are going the way they should with the increased talent on our roster from last year, Tech should be able to put this one away 69-64.

I agree with your assessment. This feels like tough 4-5 point to me. The animosity in the building should be palpable so I'm hoping that our desire for vengeance could cancel out Radford's atmosphere.

Having said that, I think I said the exact same thing before the ECU football game this year.

They really do want to throw money at the problem.

Though they did get a bargain on Mike London, since UVa has to pay him.

Don't get me wrong, some things are not good, but ESPN does great on other things. But, it always seem to boil down to DAE ESPN sux 111!1.

Gets old fast.

Connections, kids who go to school there are ALOT closer to each other than most colleges. My wife often asks me why I still stay I contact with so many kids I went to high school with, it's because of the military environment. It forces you to learn to trust and learn about your classmates, connections are a huge draw to schools like VMI and to a lesser extent Hampton Sydney.

I think Buzz is used to trap games. He understands that every team has them and from the loss we had to Radford last year he knows this is one for our VT men's team now.
