uh, the penalty on UNC was legit, you shouldn't be pointing it out as a bad call.
edit: it can be argued the leading UNC player wasn't offsides. I think he was. It was very close either way. And the ref who made the call had the view directly along the line of scrimmage.
emphasis ----> UNC should've also been called for illegal formation for the player lined up outside the 9-yard mark and flagged for the targeting hit on the Clemson player attempting to recover the ball.
Even if you concede the offside was a missed call, it's a case of one blown call making up for 2 other blown calls... net result is the correct outcome.
The giant yellow line overlay obscures the actual kick in the replay this image was taken from. It's also not directly along the line. IIRC breaking the plane with any part of your body before the ball is kicked constitutes offside, and the lead UNC player's hand/head are very close.
his twitter says he may "break up" with FSU....
good stuff here...
I'd bet he has watched film. Even if he is just playing with our hearts, I'm sure he liked what Fuente brings to the table. I'd even bet that Fuente and Wiggins have been in contact with him.
I hate making assumptions off these things but he followed Guerry on Twitter a while back and started following Holmon and Fuente within the past week. With that being said, I still think the kid is trolling us and this is a long shot.
Edit: "have" for "has"
I know you're trying to show that the UNC players haven't crossed the line yet and the ball is downfield, but crossing the line with your head counts in this situation, so it doesn't prove anything. This isn't the best photo anyone because the ball has already been kicked.
Got an earlier image from this angle showing the kicker actually kicking the ball?
Well that's better than nothing I guess. Thanks for sharing!
Whenever someone prefaces something by saying "not trying to be rude" or similar, it usually makes the reader perceive the statement as condescending, or exactly the opposite as intended. I wouldn't have read your comment as rude without the first statement, just as a comment disagreeing with me, as we are all allowed to do on this site.
Now that I've got my hypocritical condescension out of the way, I would ask, what has led you to believe FSU has changed their stance besides a previous comment above based on "heard it from..." sources? Until I see reputable sources, I would say he's committed to FSU and them to him barring some outside circumstances.
I've only been to Pizza house once ~10 years ago. That was my mother's favorite spot when she went to RU though.
I don't really like Radford all that much.
yes, but that's not as funny.
+1 LOL. that was my first thought too.
Depends on who's asking.
Thanks GuitarMan - i didn't refresh to see another reply, but we were on the same page with the /s font.
tell us how you really feel, fencer?

/s font?
are we forgetting pizza house?
They can also send it the NLI by email.
... /s ? That was universally panned as one of the worst calls of the season.

Will this game be televised?
Alas, I think this is a bigtime trap game and Radford is prepared to throw everything at us to win. VT has been an easy target for low-level schools to upset (see VMI, Radford last year, South Carolina Upstate, Alabama State, etc.). Buzz may not be used to this yet.
Dang that's a lot of traveling for just one weekend
There is talk out there he is working to reclassify as 2016.
Looks like we have a QB visiting this weekend

not to mention that historically Radford was a teaching college and as such populated mostly by females. Tech being a former military academy was populated mostly by males. Males who would go over to Radford and hook up with Radford ladies, much to the consternation of the Radford men.
In recent history both universities have transitioned into much more even gender balances, but the whole 2nd class university thing still applies
