Could Kendall play in the bowl? VTFootball just posted some videos of him and Jonathan McLaughlin on Snapchat bowling, which while is far from a contact sport, takes some leg strength that I wasn't sure Kendall had.

I love this. But as much as I hate Tennessee, I hate Alabama sooooo much more. And it's all because I find their fans more insufferable than UT's. That's saying something.

Arguably. Many on here would complain if Shane brought home the same haul of 3 stars.

I honestly don't think either one is a great choice (for different reasons; Burden experience and Shane at an offensive position). I just don't understand how so many people want Shane not to be a part of the Hokies in 2016, but want Burden.

Kind of reminds me of how the Logan Thomas decision to come back split so many of us after a 7-6 2012. Many fans wanted Leal without even really knowing much about him besides playing against Appy St.

The fumble and the punt are totally different scenarios. If the kid had no clear directive to pull it down and run then it's all on him. The fumble while it partially may be the RBs fault for not securing the ball is also attributable to a good hit that in some cases may not be avoidable. Dabo chewed the kid out and then chewed him again after the score which to me serves as a good reminder that even though you're the punter you still have an important role to play and while you may not be consistently on the field for offense or defense you're role can cost us a championship. And be damned if I'd want to miss the CFP because of a bad decision by my punter.

I mean, I understand some of the hatred towards Shane... but what has Burden done? 757 recruiting isn't exactly setting the world on fire and he never could develop a 3rd string WR this year. It is a miracle that Ford or Phillips didn't get hurt.

Also, while Shane did muddle up the RB rotation - he did develop a QB into a pretty good RB in a short amount of time.

If it came down to Burden or Shane, I am taking Shane every time; regardless of what positions they are coaching. One just has a ton more experience and while he may not be a better recruiter right now, he has been in the past at a high level. Burden has 1 year at the FBS level.

I believe my commentary during that run against Marshall was something along the lines of "oh shit oh shit oh shit YESSSSSSS."
