I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this. Even at full speed it looks intentional to me. I'm pretty sure if we saw a UVA player do the exact same thing we would all be in agreement that it was completely intentional.
neat. thanks.
Do you have any examples of the Loge Box seating? I can't recall seeing this kind of thing before. I like the idea, just not sure I follow exactly haha.
The continued inability to recruit top linebackers.
You can't conduct business while sitting in the general seats. This isn't about making everyone equal it's about supporting the teams with MONEY!!!
no, I just don't want to be considered old!
The Berglund Center? I mean yeah it's there but it seems like only country artists go there and it's a dump. I think it'd be better to have a nice place in Blacksburg instead of all the way in Roanoke. The idea is to make it easier to get people there, no?
I can't recall a single P5 coach who came in without having coached at any other level in the modern game.
Oh I know. There's going to be a lot of similarities. I had a hard time deciding whether to make the joke about Loeffler staying or whether to comment about waiting for the praise in execution of the jet sweeps and screens and similar plays that failed during Loeffler's tenure. I went with the sarcastic joke instead.
If Frank Beamer can sit with the unwashed masses and enjoy a delicious milkshake, anyone can.
This Vine is not full speed. If you watch the full speed video that shows the few seconds before he hits Cherry, he makes the same animated motion before he gets close to him. He's obviously emotional and is pumping his arms in a show of emotion as he yells. Don't think he meant it. And I stand by it.
I agree. I am extremely disappointed in Shane's recruiting. I was very excited when he came on but 804 recruiting has fallen off a cliff in the transition from Cavanaugh to Shane.
This kid is good!!! He has excellent hands and catches the ball away from his body. He isn't afraid of getting hit while going over the middle. Seems like a guy that would push for PT immediately. Get him to the Burg Fuente and Co.
Wow, I don't even know what to say.
I'd like to thank the academy, my parents, BCO and Brooks, all my fellow competitors, the bookies in Vegas for setting the spread, and the players for going out there every week and putting it all on the line.
Today I feel like the luckiest man alive.
KJ is working in the Athletic Department close to Whit. I highly doubt he will get into coaching. Right now, he's making the appearances with Whit at special events, reaching out to our distinguished alumni, and coordinating with our alumni football players. I wouldn't be surprised if KJ is able to get some money to swing our way from some of our bigger names, such as Tyrod right now, because that's what he's being asked to do.
bigassfanception?
I'll send him one of these

Yes and no, I thought I read that he didn't want to be hands on as a position coach.
Interesting that Fuente is going after players committed to other schools. Frank rarely did that.
I know you're joking, but I'm going to say this anyway just in case you've missed it. Mason has been dropping little hints that he's been catching up on some Fuente game film and he has noted that he runs an offense with a very similar playbook to Loeffler. The difference seems to be that the execution of his offense is much more crisp.
So says this man with DBU in the background......

How can you honestly watch this and believe it is unintentional? I'm sorry, but I just don't see it that way. If you watch the lead up, he's swinging his arm around hip level. As he approaches the ref he has to make a concerted effort to swing his arm at a much higher elevation in order to make contact with the refs arm. He even has his head positioned such that he must be looking right at the refs arm. I doubt very seriously that he's just walking around with his eyes closed. It's tough to keep your balance when you're swinging your arms around with your eyes closed. Try it sometime.
Also, he doesn't seem to react at all to the fact he just hit a solid object in a manner that suggests he didn't know the solid object was there. Most people will recoil or jerk their head to look at what they just hit in surprise immediately after they hit something without realizing it. Dadi follows through with his swing and keeps walking like nothing happens. Then he tries to look surprised when the ref throws his flag. I don't buy it. This was intentional all the way.
Wells is a smallish receiver who excels on screens, jet sweeps
Wait, I thought we weren't retaining Loeffler?
I don't think it was intentional, and I don't believe Ron Cherry thought so either. I think that's the only reason he didn't get tossed. Think about it. When have we gotten a break from the refs?

It does, but I think that artists would rather play in Blacksburg if given the choice. I think you'd probably end up selling a few more tickets if students could walk to the venue. Just a guess though.
Now would the Roanoke politicians be happy if Blacksburg started stealing the bigger names & higher revenue generators? Probably not, and that's a point that isn't given enough thought sometimes. Universities often rely on the goodwill of neighboring municipalities, so I don't know if angering Roanoke officials is the best idea for VT in the long run. VT does a lot for the NRV region already, so the administration would have to do their homework if such a venue is ever considered.
