I don't mean to dwell in the past but I think we go undefeated 2011 with Tyrod at QB and face LSU in the Natty. That wasn't a good Clemson team we lost to that year. They got thumped by GT, NCst, and got 70 dropped on them by WVU. They had some stuff of ours figured out though and our offense/Logan played uncharacteristically bad both games, especially the ACCCG, given the tear we had been on before that game.

I agree. I had a small meniscus tear repaired via arthroscopic surgery ten years ago or so, and after a couple of months, I was good to go, and I was 55 at the time. Now, I'm starting to suffer from arthritis in that knee, possibly exacerbated by the injury/surgery, but he's a young man and should be completely recovered by the time he needs to strut his stuff. Still, sure would love to see him just one more year.
I actually drove down from Shreveport to New Orleans to see the Sugar Bowl that year. Me and one other friend, ...pretty sure we drove back in complete and utter silence.

I was stationed at Eglin when we lost to FSU in the inaugural ACC championship game in Jacksonville. I had a very long 5 hour drive of $&!@)(*&@# chops the whole way home after the game as I had Hokie stickers on my car so I can empathize...
Just read in the Richmond Times that Bronco is an avid surfer. Really, other than goatees, jeans and flannel shirts, nothing says "UVA" more than avid surfing, am I right?
We had them in Ohio when we lived there and now in Charleston when we go down there for shopping, it's the ONLY fast food I eat. The sauce is something else.

What was surprising is how the Lady Hokies steadily pulled away in the 2nd half and won easily. It was no fluke. I got to see the last part of the game, since the wifey watches women's bb, and I enjoyed it.

Apparently that was the punter's decision. If the defense gives a certain look, you run for it. As London said after the game though, "there should probably be a distance component to that decision as well".
As much as we've given grief to Beamer about poor fake punts that he said was the kicker's decision, this appears to be pretty standard practice. UNC and Clemson each had one in the ACC championship game.
