New coach gets 4 years to establish his identity. New evaluation period is the end of the 2018 season, full 2019 season

So as far as Fuente's offensive coaching staff choices, do you think he brings his people from Memphis' staff? Or does he have other staff connections that he will bring in from elsewhere?

It's remarkable to me just how good Whit is as our AD. He not only met, but managed to exceed what were very lofty expectations of the VT fanbase. Well done to all and welcome Coach Fuente!

I will say. For us at the game, it was quite frustrating getting the news via text from friends. I wanted to be in full social media mode to read all the news, tweets, and reactions.
That would be a great situation. Prevents a potential major conflict-of-interest here in Blacksburg. Fuente would be given free reign over offense and special teams. Shane would work in another elite staff with the possibility to get to the playoffs (probably greater than at VT).
