FWIW:

It was a tough move to make, winning 9 games, but the right one. Was UGA going to be better over the next four years with Richt? No, his message was stale. Whether it is a Smart or Mullen or Freeze or Patterson, they are at a point where they need to make a move and take a chance. Keeping Richt was the safe move, it was time for them to not be safe.

That said, if Richt wants to coach again (not a given) he will do well. I like him best of all and would drop Fuente if Richt was available. But I doubt he will be, Fuente will do fine.

UAB only won one tourney game last year. Regardless, getting to and winning a tourney game is somewhere we haven't been in a long time. This was a good win for us.

Rivers is all about foster. Now that he is coming back for sure, I like our odds to make a push for rivers

Fire a guy after a win against your in-state rival who still has the possibility to pull a 10 win season if they win the bowl game? Be careful what you wish for UGA.

Their problems have been on offense and they just fired their OC. Defense has been great since he got there. Time will tell on the new OC hire

How quickly we forget about Allen's two giant threes in the second half. There's a reason he plays at the end of regulation and in OT against UAB, he's one of the best five players on the team. Tech doesn't win on Saturday without him, he has the balls to take a shot in a tight game, and showed some life defensively (though obviously still wasn't great).

He's not a hinderance to what tech does, he actually is the best at the best thing they do (get to the rim). He needs to improve, yes, but to imply that he's some albatross sinking this team into a losing abyss is pretty absurd.
