Well, we rushed a corner of the endzone.

They had guys posted at the bottom of the hill, and our fans were staying well within the allowed area. But a few players came down to celebrate, and passed through the line of 'yellow jackets.' The fans, understandably. surged forward to meet the players. But, they stayed off the field about as well as you'd expect, considering the proximity, and I didn't see anyone try to take advantage of the situation.

And the jacket-guys did well, too - they had no hope of stopping it from happening, and to their credit, they didn't try slinging people around, or generally acting like security goons can do. They ended up re-forming the cordon line around the celebration, like "yeah, this is how far we're allowing you to go." Lowered the potential for ugliness.

Not that any UVa fans were left after the interception......

And after today's game, McMillian is only 39 yards short of 1000 rushing.

This is insane! Think if he actually got the majority of carries early on... I know I know he wasn't "ready" or "seasoned" enough to play that much early but.... what if! I hate to be that guy but on my car ride back home, I couldn't help to think who we have in the stable for RB's next year! Now with Ford kickin a$$, Cam is a few passes short of being up to same stats with his fellow WR and Bucky well being Bucky. I really hope O-Line and QB development work out next season!

UVA has a problem with excitement and interest. If they want to add sizzle to their program, they could go after Lane Kiffin.

I think this is huge. A lot of other threads are trying to show Buds defense is down. To me, offense plays into that. When we have a strong lead, bud runs a more aggressive get at em defense, really releasing the hounds. But when we are down or have a shaky lead, I feel like he plays a bit more conservative.

The other is on the exhaustive front. It takes a lot out of a defense mentally and physically when your offense is lethargic. You are on the field more and their isn't a spark. Remember offense is exciting, for the defensive players too. If the offense is blowing it up, the defense gets pumped and hungry, not to mention, they have more fun.

I think defensive recruits will definitely see a better offense as a plus, and now you still get Bud. Win win in my book.

Auburn... the colors... blue and orange... the hate is growing exponentially!!

I'm pretty sure it was less a 'classy move,' than it was a 'jump before being pushed move.'

If that announced buyout was less than he would have received had he been pushed, I'll concede that part. But otherwise, we all know - as much as we'd love for him to stay - he was Dead Man Walking yesterday.

Especially when you're trying to win the game on points (the only way you can win) and not on field position.

would be the first/lastonly good thing he has done for their "football program".

FTFY

Some G5 team or FCS will make him an assistant in a heartbeat. Just to recruit kids from the 757.

Shit we've legally OWNED that field and stadium since the '05 season. When walking back to the car after the game I overheard these two wahoo doucheturds bitching about us rushing the field. Absolute music to my ears. Also saw a fellow Hokie walking his dog (pug) in someone's yard. Dog looked happy and was smiling (probably about the win) as he proceeded to defecate on the wahoo yard.
