NCAA stats books include bowl games after 2000 for all season statistics. School records can be viewed however you want to interpret them.

We scoffed at the time because the source of this rumor was the children of the coaches telling their classmates in middle and high school, but considering what we are heading today.....
Would not shock me if everyone had known of this for a while now.

People should judge his last five years........and then find out he fielded a top 3 defense last year...and this year went from being ranked 70th early in the season ans finished 30th
I thought it was only for regular season, not counting bowl games.
Let's see him in a Fighting Gobbler cap.
And after today's game, McMillian is only 39 yards short of 1000 rushing.

Can't wait to see what he does with competent offensive coaching and play calling

I really don't know how they keep him, but the financials of firing him present some issues...$2.5 million to not coach...you'd have to think they'd fire him, but I'm wondering if they have an LSU type booster bunch that would pony up the cash to buy him out...the Mike Sanford talk makes sense especially considering he's young enough to where his asking price won't be as high, I hope they don't because honestly, I think he might actually be a good coach, he's at least a good OC.
Preach, him and Phillips have been clutch all year

So short answer: I don't know, but I sort of doubt he will be kept on if the new HC has his own guy he trusts.

# | BUZZKETBALL CENTRAL: Virginia Tech Hokies (3-2) vs UAB Blazers (3-2) 430PM CBS Sports Made it out to Niceville for this one. Took my parents to their first Tech basketball game. I'll take an ugly win over a good team anytime. I did notice some glaring issues though:
Seth Allen is a ball hog, and it's always an adventure when the ball is in his hands.
Several times we turned the ball over simply due to guys not knowing where the ball was/ not communicating. That seems like an easy fix, and it needs to be fixed soon.
Chris Clarke is gonna be awesome after some development, but he's very raw right now.
We gotta cut down on the fouls.
Need to find consistent perimeter shooters not named Bibbs.
I was actually going to do this for all the coaches that were rumored to be candidates but my lack of patience prevailed and I didn't. What better way to pick a coach then to decide which one looks the best in VT gear?
