Patrick Jones II (DE) makes his decision next week and that should tell us something. Nick Coe (DE) committed to Auburn today.

Was at the game today, very exciting.. here is my take. Great win. Justin Robinson was lights out both yesterday and today.. incredibly quick and could get to the basket at will..even against Iowa State. LeDay is always around the ball.. always making plays and tough in paint. Bibbs is unselfish and needs to create more. Clarke is a freak but plays out of control too much.. that is due to youth. He is really special though and love him. Hamilton definitely has a role. Hudson should play more. Do not know why Robinson barely played in 2nd half vs UAB.

Regarding UAB game, I could not fathom the selfish play by Seth Allen... many possessions he thinks it s a game of 1 on 1.. I simply do not get it. His D is terrible, gives up the back door plays a lot or just doesnt seem to be that engaged. Buzz must like something that we do not see. I can not believe they let him play like that but were in the bonus so they felt it was ok to drive every time. He appears to have his own team rules... would imagine his teammates would not like it. Offensively, his is really over rated but also pretty darn quick and could get to the whole.. I do not like his team game at all.

Please this. Be gone to Korea next year so this will be my last chance to see them for a few yrs.

As a current Memphian who loves college football and a contractor who spends a lot of time on campus here I can say that what Fuente has done for the program is absolutely amazing. This was a BAD football program. The facilities are sub par, the fan base was Miamiesque in my opinion, and the city's, well, shitty. Memphis is a beasketball town. When football season started it just meant we were a month closer to basketball season. Enter Justin Fuente. Sports Talk radio here has changed, the stadium is full and people are talking football, oh and spending money with enthusiasm on Tigers football. I couldn't be more pleased with this hire. I'm downright giddy about it. I'm looking forward to some offense and and however Fuente does it or better yet whoever he does it with I'm ok with. I don't think for one minute that Fuente would have taken this job if he were forced to keep anyone. I don't think any coach would have. I think Fuente knows a good thing when he sees it and Foster is def. a positive at VT imo. Here's an article from Geoff Calkins of the commercial appeal here that says Fuente won't coach Memphis bowl game and will be in Blacksburg on Monday.

I'm glad you brought up the part about BS recruiting against us, as not many people are talking about it and it really has me worried. If he leaves, someone else will pick him up because of his connections and will use him against us. Also, Im not sure why there is so much hate for him now other than people wanting change for the sake of change. Plus the recent offensive struggles are not his doing. I would bet he would go along with whatever scheme a new HC wants to go with if it means keeping his job.

and this year went from being ranked 70th early in the season ans finished 30th

The job he's done with Motuapuaka and the DBs this year is just extraordinary. Bud has the capability to (1) devise superior game plans, (2) adjust within the game, and (3) get the most out of players year after year by coaching them up and making them better.

Just realized that VT played tOSU tougher than michigan, with one quarterback tied behind our back!

Another interesting factoid: michigan has gone 2-13 against tOSU since, and including 2001.
Yikes.

LSU/AM is pretty good one so far.

I have no idea if these are legit quotes from Charley, but based on his track record, I believe them, and he's RTing.

Stanford/ND seems to be the best game on right now. Bedlam has disappointed and Florida can't seem to get a decent drive going against the Noles.
