Sorry about the initial post that abruptly ended halfway through. I was trying to insert a picture that I took of Isaiah Ford in the lobby, but failed miserably, and instead ended up posting the forum topic before it was finished. If I can figure out how to edit and add in the picture, you may see it appear.....
5-1, that might be my best overall. starting to climb out of the basement.
Allen has been very disappointing so far.
But almost as disappointing as our free throw percentage. I simply cannot believe how bad we have been. They cost us the game on Saturday and came close to doing it tonight.

EDIT its fixed. Cool story. Definitely an interesting perspective.
Same here. His shooting is bad and so far he has been a turnover machine.

TCU at Oklahoma -7.5
All I'm saying is that the role as head coach is different than as coordinator. Not sure what you mean about Shane. What does that have to do with Bud? Are you saying that if bud was the recruiting coordinator he would be more qualified to be a head coach?
I was sure this was going to be another Metallica sighting thread.

I hate it when they do that.
I was worried about the Rich Rod rumors early on. The more I've thought about it, the less I've worried. Whit hiring Rich Rod because they worked together several years ago would be the kind of lazy Gary Darnell hire that we are (deservedly) skittish about, but shouldn't be any more. That just doesn't seem like Whit's style to me.
Guys he saw Deez
I want to mention two things nobody has touched on because they're not related to on-court play. I agree with almost everything people have said so far.
1. Most of the players on the bench stood up for good plays but I didn't see Hudson or Pierce stand up when the rest of the team was standing.
2. Allen pissed me off all game with poor playing on both ends of the floor and a selfish, pouting attitude. However at the end of the game after the handshake line, Buzz headed toward the tunnel. Hamilton and maybe two other players started following him until Allen called them back and led the team through the high five parade. If he can bring that kind of leadership and team-centric mentality to the floor maybe he'll be ok.
Slightly different, I agree, but Memphis isn't far removed from competing in a NY6 bowl. If Temple stayed the course, and Memphis didn't lose, there could well have been talk of Memphis in the playoff. They are certainly on the cusp of something big.
Patches O'Hoolihan or Peter LeFleur

long time tkp lurker, first post, but i think Hokie nation would be happy with either Fuente, Herman, or Morris. Young coaches with something to prove in a P5 conf. that are exciting recruiters with blue collar work ethic. But after Buzz, I trust in Whit 100%
I mean Macy's.
I mean Jos A Bank.
I mean Cabela's.
Dammit, refresh!
Was it an ad for SquareSpace?
Cause that's what I have on my screen.
My point was simply that recruiting is a long term "war" not a one year "battle"
Unfortunately it is more of a 2 year battle and HS coaches and relationships don't matter anymore if you want Top athletes. Top 4*/5* players are sold a program by the coach of the college to come there not the HS coach.
72% of the 129 current FBS coaches have been at their current school less than six years
Sure if you want a bunch of Local players that are 3* players and will win you a ACCCG every 3- 5 years then keep it up
sorry completely missed the reply
Ralph Macchio, Joe Esposito or William Zabka.
