They don't allow VMI to compete in fencing because the snobs writing the rules don't consider a bayonet charge "sporting".

I thought they fit very well with the stripes. That being said, I am not a fan of the stripes in general and wish we got rid of them but I think the helmets went with them pretty well.

Clemson -6.5 at Louisville - if it were 7.5, I would reconsider
Northwestern at Duke -3.5 - Go Dook
Georgia Tech -2.5 at Notre Dame - ND overhyped and unprepared for GT
Stanford at USC -10.5 - Really no idea
Ole Miss at Alabama -6.5 - I have a feeling on this one
BYU at UCLA -16.5 - Too many points. BYU loses but covers.

"can a menstruation joke follow a condom joke"

If menstration doesn't follow a condom than someone screwed up.

I hope we can bring the Furman lids into the regular helmet rotation. After seeing them in person on Saturday, I really, really like them. Probably one of the best helmet designs we've had in a while. The white top, orange stripe, and maroon bottom really match well with the white jerseys and maroon/orange stripes. I'm a little tired of the shoulder stripes myself, but this helmet really makes the look better overall. Hope we see those metallic orange lids again too.

The fact that he can go to a recruit and offer immediate playing time and a legitimate shot at a roster spot, and can point to what he's already doing to back it up, plays a huge role in getting these star players on campus annually. Everyone goes there thinking they'll start Year 1.

Our current culture defers to upperclassmen over freshmen. It has its own merits, but it does steer kids away who are looking to have a legitimate chance of starting their first year. I would be willing to put money on it that this plays a major role in why we haven't been able to land 5* elite athletes in recent years despite being in an area saturated with them.

Feel the same way about the one i bought from last year's mil appreciation game. Sure, we lost to ECU, and the previous owner (Facyson) kinda played like butt, but it still looks awesome sitting on my shelf during the week and on my head on gameday.

I cannot wait for the results of the first two weeks to come out to prove my sneaking suspicion that I am terrible at picking games.

Clemson -6.5: Louisville just looks ...not good. Dabo will act like a fool, but Petrino will coach like one.
Northwestern +3.5: The Wildcats look somewhat decent and I think they can handle the stifling atmosphere of Wallace Wade.
Georgia Tech -2.5: I will be shocked if this is a close game. Winner gets a good boost in the polls. CPJ relishes dominating a blue blood. GT by at least 14.
USC -10.5: Stanford cannot really be that bad, can they? I think so. Shaw just doesn't have the juice that Harbaugh and Pep have.
Alabama -6.5: Saban. Revenge. That is all.
BYU +16.5: Too many points for mid to late twenty year olds versus college age players. Tanner Mangum's magic underwear may indeed be magic.
