The white on top with that weird angle made it look like we were wearing bike helmets

So for a second I thought we were wearing Furman's helmets...as if we take the helmets from whichever team we beat to play against our next victim. Almost like a trophy...

The helmet display in the locker room for this week had the Furman helmet and Purdue helmet.
So long as the odds and prizes were good enough, I can see this working. Crappy prizes/no chance to win and people would rather throw a plane.

Am I the only one that thinks that the Military Appreciation Helmets kinda' look like like male pattern baldness? Especially when viewed from specific angles?
Yup, just a case where the upper classmen is going to get his shot. I fully expect to see Lydon by the 2nd qtr.
With this curveball of wearing the lids again, and the mixing up of the unis, I'm going to say orange pants. Just because.
(I'm betting on an Oregon-esque melange of combos this season. To get ready for the new unveiling next year. And to possibly weigh the fan reactions to the different combos used this year.)

None of the defensive ends period have been very productive so far this season.
I think everyone lined up the way Motley called for them to. I think Motley got mixed up with the call from the sideline. Again, given how signals are sent in these days, it probably happens 5-10 times a game and we never notice.
The Beamerball Instagram used the Furman lids in their game preview. The first two game preview helmets were the ones we actually wore, so I'm expecting white helmets against PU.
Actually, I think he messed up the call. When he gets signals from the sideline, he has to translate them to the rest of the team. Motley may have called the formation of the receivers correctly (twins right, Y left) however perhaps he made a mistake with the rest of the call. The RB and the OL executed the call correctly. However, with Motley unable to see the screen and Ford (also executing the call properly) not blocking by running the screen, there was an unblocked defender. In today's age of sideline signals and those dopey signs, it probably happens way more often than we think.

I guess I don't get this. Seems to me that this would encourage even MORE paper plane throwing, create a bigger mess to clean up, and provide an even bigger reward for boorish behavior.
