3rd Quarter Stretch/Hokie Pokie. The best time would be after the game due to considering how they might clean them up quick enough to get the teams back out there. But would anyone wait around for that since it'd have to be after the field is clear of players? Great idea, but it'd require some additional changes.

Pick them up, and it will have their name on it. If one is thrown early, they are not eligible for the prize.
And like I said above, twitter shame them for premature planing.
Someone can work out the details, but at least its an idea to help curb the randomness of the occurrences.

Tech is recruiting Pitt commit Chase Pine and Alabama commit Jaquan Yulee. If they sign with Tech, they have the potential to play in the middle (among other positions). I would ignore the positions the recruiting services tag prospects with when it comes to Tech.

It should also be pointed out just how many people left Texas when Strong arrived there. I think there was something I saw before the season that only 2 players or so were left from the 2013 recruiting class at Texas. After losing the AD, Strong will probably be out of a job by the end of next year if he can't make the playoffs. That's pretty much what Texas expects and will pay someone else to get.

No worries, and I'm probably equally as wrong for taking such offense. Yes, it hit a nerve, and yes, your rant was over generalized. That's why I generally try to avoid making rants on public forums, but I've been guilty of the same myself unfortunately. Anyway, thanks for the apology (accepted), and please accept mine as well for the return rant/lecture. I'm sure we both are too old to have to be lectured by anyone but our wives. And even then I don't usually take those well...

Also, thank you for the best wishes for my daughter. I truly appreciate it. And I promise not to discuss that on this forum again. Definitely not the place for it.

Go Hokies!

We don't exactly have 4-5* depth at every position here

we barely have 2 spots with 4-5* depth.. so yeah red shirting a bunch of 3*s and hoping that one year will get them ready to contribute. This 100% has to do with recruiting and its a smart move by UM and CS.. How many 5* kids want to red shirt ... I'd say less than 10%.

I'm shocked that they even came out and spoke about this as it is one of the most touchy subjects when recruiting these young kids.
