5 - partially, penalties cost us another TD and INT...

7 - check sort of as we did get to see SH some at MLB, although it sucks Motu got hurt
8 - check (Motley started, Lawson played, and Durkin also played)
9 - check (Cline made some plays)
Wow horrible ending for ECU trying to tie it up against UF. QB went to pass and thrall just flew out of his hands when he cocked back to throw it. UF recovers the fumble and the game is over.
If Bane showed up, both teams would be defeated; albeit with excessive force

I don't think he meant any offense to you. I think most people on here are glad that all the QBs got some reps today.
cool, yeah we sort of, essentially, kind of, in a way, partially...agree. All that really matters is that we win. I do want 2 or 3 of our QBs to get playing time. I liked when Motley had his package last year and this year when Brewer was starter, and I liked Lawson getting in there today, and I'm glad Durkin got in today...and I'm fine with Motley being #1, but I just want QBs 1-2 or 1-3 to have experience so if there's another injury in an ACC game (that it isn't an automatic loss)...and I like making it harder for opposing teams to prepare for us (or our different QB packages)...
I'm pleased they got the W (I feel the making Furman bitchage was accomplished). Wish they would've put 50+ but pleased nonetheless. Was even more ecstatic to discover that C'ville Community College gagged to ND. However, there was something that greatly displeased me. ND won. Is there anyway that C'ville Community College and ND could possibly both lose while playing each other at the same time? Because that would just be awesome.
First, I'm a VT alum and one of the most dedicated Hokie football fans on the planet. I've been lurking and occasionally posting on TSL and TKP for as long as these sites have been around, and this is the first attempt by anyone to joke or call me a troll. Do you even know what a troll is? My post was definitely serious. I didn't mean that I didn't want to have only one starter, what I really meant was I didn't want only one Hokie QB to get all the playing time. There's a difference. I had no problem with Glennon and Tyrod splitting reps because frankly I think it was working at the time - it gave us better QB depth, it got Tyrod some experience since they already pulled his shirt, both QBs were so different that it made it pretty difficult for opposing D's to prepare for our offense, and finally we had no OL (so we needed Tyrod on the field), but Glennon was a pretty decent downfield passer so we also needed some of that...anyway, I got my wish today with all 3 of our QBs getting playing time. Maybe you are the troll?
Judging from Lefty's post-game comments, Motley is a more polished passer right now. Lawson may have the higher ceiling, but Lefty wants more time to work with him before he becomes the starter. Motley is ready to fill in for the games Brewer misses. Brewer comes back and is QB1 for the rest of the season. Next year, it's Lawson's team.

# | QBs Brenden Motley, Dwayne Lawson Strut Their Stuff, Hokies' Offense Roasts Furman 42-3 Motley threw some great downfield passes. He struggles with underneath throws and is tentative on a lot of his reads. He's the Bizarro World Brewer- they have opposite skill sets.
It wasn't about whether we "can" scrimmage during a live game. We had no choice. We had no QB and some serious questions on D. We had to use a live game situation to get Motley up to speed. He struggled badly for two quarters. Then he seemed to get it. Next week we find out if he really got it or just got lucky.

He can see the exact same thing as Loeffler, and then see what and why Loeffler is calling that particular play. We already know Brewer is a smart guy; this can only increase his knowledge of the game and the scheme. If and when he comes back, he'll just have to knock off some rust and have more knowledge than ever.
You're right. It's Lawson who's 6'-6".

He helped Motley with his preparation this week.
"He's doing a great job of trying to help his team," Loeffler said. "He's a team guy. He's a Virginia Tech guy, does everything in his power to help his team in his situation. So it's good to have him around. ... He's a senior, he's a leader, he's trying to help Motley, he's trying to help Lawson, he's trying to bring Durkin along. He exemplifies everything that a leader is supposed to do."
Will he watch every game from up there during his injury? I'm somewhat surprised they don't have him on the sidelines rallying his fellow QBs

I upvoted your original post as well as this one. Not sure why some people thought you were trolling. It appears that the coaches agreed with your thoughts on getting all 3 QBs some work today. Good comment.
