Good. Now we don't have to talk about Boise again all season because they now have zero chance at the playoff.
After stepping in it in the final minutes against BYU, I expect noise state to make Idaho state and loluva pay.
I'm just astounded a program like Texas (which must REALLY suck), with all its vast resources, traditions, and excellent recruiting grounds can fall off like they have since 2009. This very well might have been the annual game where loluva plays way out of their league, only they didn't get the win this time. Boo hoo.
Leg for making me chuckle. And on that note, I completely agree with you here
I think it's going to be a very tight game this year, just like last year.
That was amazing, but I hate that UVA was competitive in this game...
I think you're missing a "-A".
Except it is Div 1...
I'm sure at least one of the unit coaches does his job well.
Sorry, NC State....
They're coming off a last-second, crushing loss and they play an FCS team next week. And we all know how that goes...
We have a new term: "The Scott Stadium Slump"
The uva we see now vs the uva at the end will be different teams.
That one is going to sting them for a bit, if they had won it could have started something. I crushing loss like that... We all know how they sting for a while
So, to sum up, some days you're the BYU guy, and on days like yesterday you're the Boise guy:

# | QBs Brenden Motley, Dwayne Lawson Strut Their Stuff, Hokies' Offense Roasts Furman 42-3 Agreed, very little can be taken from these FCS scrimmages. Motleys problems, like most QBs, manifest themselves when there is pressure and covered receivers. FCS talent like this doesn't offer much test in those two areas.
Purdue is not very good, but you are right in that it will be a good test for this team. Looks like Purdue to ECU to Pitt to NCSU is a good progression. Need to get better every week.
I just gave it a chuckle.
That's rough, reminds me of an 07 BC game

# | QBs Brenden Motley, Dwayne Lawson Strut Their Stuff, Hokies' Offense Roasts Furman 42-3 Coastal Carolina had to put up all those points because their defense gave up a boatload. And VT did run up over 500 yards on them.

# | QBs Brenden Motley, Dwayne Lawson Strut Their Stuff, Hokies' Offense Roasts Furman 42-3 I watched this game at the fox and hound in Mason OH. The manager put it on right next to anOSU. It was fun to watch. Mainly second half. I am not sold on our D at all. Bud has to realize that with this level of play from our front 4 the Mike is going to kill us against Miami. I really think they are going to need Ricky W in there before the season ends.
Anyone else believe in Karma? Threads like this make me uncomfortable + quite frankly, watching that game makes me nervous, b/c that ND team is good. They're better than VT at the moment and if UVA came can hang with them, they can hang with VT. #stillworktodo

# | QBs Brenden Motley, Dwayne Lawson Strut Their Stuff, Hokies' Offense Roasts Furman 42-3 I think a safety from Miami did that (Rolle) - at least that was the story at the draft. Good kids.
Just curious but you seem to be equating OSU with UVA.
In my opinion, there's a bit of a difference.
Did anyone else hear Ed Cunningham call UVA "well coached" during the telecast? I don't think I'd ever heard that said about UVA before.

"Just kidding, we actually have enough quarterbacks now."

I watched BSU struggle mightily with UW and then cave in vs BYU last night. I don't think this Boise team is all that good, to be honest. I think UVA wins.
