Is ESPN3 on directv? I thought I saw that. So does that mean that bars with directv will have the game on?
It largely depends on what type of rain we're getting. If the ball is damp without water rolling off of it, it actually gets a bit tacky and can help grip quite a bit. If it's pouring and the ball is drenched, that's when it gets slick and harder to throw. Think Miami vs Marshall in 2013. LT3 said the Marshall game was terrible cause of how hard it was to grip the ball, but the Miami game was actually pretty nice. Looks like it shouldn't be too bad today.

Anyone else catch that they added some new shots to the Gameday opening this morning? Definitely saw a quick shot of Braxton in our end zone.
If they're gonna show an OSU play from that game, they might as well put the spin in.
It still blows my mind that Don Draper had an affair with Velma. That had to shake Mystery Incorporated to the bone.
You're the voice of reason, French. Hadn't thought about the advantages of rain in the passing game. I'm just worried about a not-particularly-accurate passer maintaining a grip and having proper release on a wet ball.
Lefty has said he won't be timid playing to Motley's strengths going forward. I hope that's the case.
I also hope he's serious about finding a clear-cut QB3 and developing him live, because it's a fair guess that Motley will take an injury at some point that's at least serious enough to need his backup to finish out a game.

I'd disagree. This kind of weather gives the receiver a huge advantage on double moves. It may not help Motley turn into Joe Montana with the quick 3 step drop progressions; however it certainly could open up some big play opportunities in the play action game. Some big plays may just be what he needs to gain that confidence. I have my doubts about Motley, but he is a better QB than we saw Monday night.
