Because they have asshole troll fans? Look how many Buckeyes have hung out here all offseason and been the straight up tits. All programs have assclowns.
We get it you enjoy the troll life but go on 11Warriors and do it there. Not 1 post until OSU wins and every one has been full of troll comments.
We had you on the ropes there. Then our starting QB breaks his collar bone and all game plan goes out the door.
Fuller got torched on a double move midway through the 4th. Not sure if he was just tired from playing man-press the entire damn game, or if he was injured.
I don't know- but I didn't see any status update on either one from the post game media access.
I have seen Motley play live 4 times. He can not run this offense. His zone read option plays are not sharp. Can get the reads quick enough. Gonna be a long season.
Beamer wanted to redshirt Tyrod , then LSU happened. The coaching staff should get all 3 guys prepared and find out who's the QB of the future. Brewer is a senior anyway and I want VT to win the Battle of Bristol .
Yep, I really liked this season's chances with Brewer.
I'm honestly confused. Are you proving my point? Because that's Cover 0 and exactly the type of throw that would be an INT with a safety in coverage.
5) The health of Kendall Fuller and Brandon Facyson, who I can't remember seeing in the 4th quarter is worrisome.
How much playing time did these two get? I really didn't see them on the field too much (or maybe it was the camera angles).
1. OSU is an elite bunch. Explosive, dynamic, an embarrassment of riches in depth. They were the better team.
2. Brewers loss cannot be understated. physical talents aside, his leadership and confidence in the huddle will be missed greatly. The next 10 days is a QB audition.
3. Moto is making too many misreads. He consistently got tied up behind the DLine, plugging the wrong hole.
4. I understand everyone's frustration. But keep this in perspective. The season is not lost, Frank and company just have to figure out how to win with what we have.
5. The next 2 weeks will really define the season moving forward. Will the team rally around our QB? Or will everyone be pointing fingers?
6. Please don't use the Lords name in vain. I can stomach comments expressing anger and disgust, but I draw the line with the above.
7. Go Hokies. Let's right the ship and win some ball games, one week at a time.
This is true, but the running game in general looks more promising. The problem now is, all defenses will stack the box against us until whoever the starter is can prove he can beat them with his arm.
I am about 99% sure it was Gallo. Gallo stepped right, meaning the protection was slide right. Washington came through the center-guard gap, meaning Gallo, stepping right should have gotten Washington. Gallo changed direction when the mike came and Conte was looking outside at the guard-tackle gap.
Again, one mistake (which was worlds better than last year) but it was so costly.
You aren't playing Ohio State or anyone remotely close in your next 4 games.
You're too modest. We're not playing anyone remotely close to you guys in our next thirteen games.
I was actually glad to see them keep the game going instead of kill the clock, because that got Motley more snaps against a lethal defense. I guarantee you that touchdown drive was a confidence booster for Brenden, and you can't stress enough how big that could be going into a short week of practice. "I scored against OSU, I know I can score against Furman..." That kind of thing.
The game was lost when Brewer went out. For all the talk on here about it's an indictment on Lefty to not have Motley better prepared, that's pure emotion talking. Motley isn't a good enough quarterback to beat OSU. But he might be good enough to beat Furman, Purdue, ECU, a Connor-less Pitt and NC State. (That last one is iffy.)
It really is awful. Brewer was gutting it out and hanging in there again. He was making solid throws, and basically keeping VT in the game. Unfortunately, it seemed like there was a huge let down both from the O and D when he went down, and rightly so.
Oh and its time to admit that right now Rogers is the best running back on the team.
Would love to hear Bud's rationale for that. With all due respect to him, of course.
It's like... our DL is easily our strongest unit. Why tinker with that, of all things?
Then major uh-oh.

I'm so empty inside.
A loss I can take.. But an injury is ongoing. I hate it. I hate it so much.
Eh, doesn't really bother me. Meyer probably wanted game reps for those guys. Evaluation purposes. Don't like it, make them pay for it.
Although Meyer did give praise to Beamer and what he has built at vt in his post game interview on the field.
I agree, Nijman should definitely be our LT going forward.

Agree with this. Not to mention that ecundoesnt have their old QB either.
