Maybe, but I do remember being pretty impressed with Johns last year. If Johns is successful, I don't think it matters how good Lambert does at UGA.
Side note, Devon, I now know your email address
you should be fine from what I know, but it's been awhile. anyone else?

# | "5 Reasons Virginia Tech Football Will Beat the Ohio State Buckeyes: Play-Calling Changes" Article (Cleveland.com) After talking about MSU and Bama's defense Michael Thomas is asked where Fuller stands, his reply "definitely at the top"... made me giddy. That matchup is vital to the defense's success.
bastards...... i'll be there Monday
My only problem with your take is that you equate a loss to "not living up to the hype"
The hype is a #1 ranked opponent coming to Lane.
The hype is the crowd knowing that the Hokies on the field need all the help they can get from the Hokies in the stands.
The hype is an all-day tailgate or a cookout at home.
If you're going to only have a good time if we win then you're doing something wrong. Just playing in this game is great. Winning it would be awesome.
There are roughly 3000 Vol message boards. Volnation is the biggest free one, and probably the biggest overall, with about 40k users. Way too cluttered for me. Volquest is the most popular and run by Rivals. Less people there obviously because its a pay site. Then it really varies. There are tons of smaller sites, Feelslike98 (a younger more crude/anything goes crowd), 3rd and Chavis (very small crowd, but some good info), and a few others, that could be comparable to TKP, but with no real media influence. I usually post on Feelslike98, mainly because Ive been posting with the same guys since we were part of the younger/more crude crowd. Its certainly not for everyone. We really shine on twitter though, thats where I spend most of my time.
Ah, nothing wrong with that man.
Is there a Volunteer equivalent of TKP? I usually like to browse/lurk on other team's websites.
I have to say College Football Final is so much better without Mark May's negativity and Dr. Lou's constant Notre Dame love. Joe Tessitore & Joey Galloway are such a nice upgrade.
I really wish the schedule vs. teams in the opposite division rotated every two years. That way teams could have a home and home and then move on. We wouldn't have to watch BC for the next 1000 years and play more competitive teams. Definitely would be more entertaining IMHO.

They're trying to butter us up so we like them and will take it easy on em........
In all seriousness, they are a class act, and it's extremely gracious of them to do that! Some things are bigger than any game.
Haha, been here some since the spring. Ive known a few Tech guys over here for a long time. Just branching out a little.
Cant believe I forgot, we have West Virgina scheduled in 2017

# | It is so hard to hate the Buckeyes: Ohio State to join Hokies in honoring WDBJ-7 shooting victims I hope we make it 8-2 against ECU since we've had 2 losses in the last 6 games against them.
I was thinking the same thing. They could have done at least a blue outline. Doesn't do a lot of good to go on the road to the west coast and not have visibility.
Hey man, sorry for delay in getting back to you. Connected with Joe and they need it for the tailgate. Sorry bud, but the tailgate must prevail.
And some school in the mountains that a few of us might have heard of.
Yes
It hurts both teams to have a dull series.
See last years Miss St v Ole Miss
and as always Auburn/ Bama also Ohio St and Mich or USC/UCLA
Are we getting Tennessee fans on the site already? Anyway, welcome.
Next year is our big year. We should be an 8-9 win team this year. Weve got a ton of talent, but all really young. BG has a decent offense but a god awful defense. Ill take a 29 point win.
5-0, hope I finish 5-1
SUM thinks Mark Leal should start.
SUM agrees with the OSU recruit who thought VT acted entitled after winning last year in the shoe.
Tennessee is pretty good about OOC opponents. We went to OU last year, Oregon the year before, Notre Dame, UCLA, and Cal in the past and have OSU and USC in the future.

Hackenberg could have been quite good. He committed to PSU for the promise of playing in a pro-style offense implemented by Bill O'Brien, and in his freshman year, he was looking like a world-beater.
But then O'Brien left for the Texans. I think it was a good move for everyone, as the PSU illuminati never liked him. But it does mean that Hackenberg lost his whisperer and it's been downhill for him ever since. It's also Penn State, so they've now cycled through all of their receivers and haven't rebuilt an OL. Akeel Lynch looked good early on.
I was texting a friend who went to the Linc for this game, had to remind him that ECU beats us occasionally, too. We usually don't look quite that bad when they do, though.
