Thanks, and I agree trying to get some business and soften the mood so we aren't going to kill each other in the stands. Never really ate at Poor Billy's anyways as a student, Mike's Burgers is where it is at!

I will concede that I exaggerated my feelings for the sake of the post. I do like that we are in general a very gracious fan base. However, rolling out a banner welcoming them feels super wrong right before our game with them. Our nationally televised, much talked about, much scrutinized game with them.
It isn't as bad as if they had a UVA banner up, but it's up there

They're a business. The OSU fan base travels well, so hospitality makes sense. Non-issue.

Hell, the entire ACC Coastal does. We didn't "choose" to play a team that employs a wishbone/triple option based offense and it seems many anOSU fans are butthurt that they agreed to play Navy and claim that Urban Meyer has said he will never again play Navy. That's just silly. Navy is a historical team and has done well for themselves considering the obstacles in their way for recruiting. And they are the quintessential example of being more than football players. I would consider it an honor to play against folks who signed up to play football at a school knowing that it also meant service to their country. But now I'm rambling. My point is just that it's a tired excuse that holds no water, pun intended.
