Oops just posted on another thread...my bad.
The shifts just allow faster penetration.

Yes with Nickel, but no I usually "spread" my DL "wide", which essentially does the same thing you say. The RT and RG are taken by my DL, and usually my ROLB comes untouched. But if the RB comes in to chip in, then usually my other LB gets to the QB. It's kind of a cop-out I know, but both Madden and NCAA make playing defense impossible with zone.
Yep. Source
There's a joke about the Hokie Pokey and buckeye nuts in there somewhere............
Yep, playing on the side of caution is always best. Of course, I understand the coaches hesitation as well. Our QB's get dinged a lot and if JT gets hurt on Monday we are in trouble. I know our 3rd string QB thing last year turned out great, but this year the 3rd string QB really does look like a 3rd stringer. Player safety always comes first, but this does make for a very delicate situation. You don't want to be like Michigan and put in a QB who is still having concussion symptoms. PR nightmare.
Having no real bias, I think he will turn out to be a pretty good DE for VT the next couple of years. I have spoken with him a couple of time and he always comes across genuine. He is certainly what you want in a Hokie.
Just make sure the shirt is orange.
I dated a girl that went to Glenvar in 1985. That was a good year.

Sacksburg: 9 out of 10 opposing QBs say our turf is the softest.
Do you run this out of the nickel? That's what I do. I also noticed it works better if you shift your defensive line to the left, for some reason. Sometimes I'll pull my left side DT towards the DE and control him manually and eat up blocks which allows my LBs to get through quickly. It's a case of 5 guys blocking 6. The shifts just allow faster penetration.
Bud's unofficial job description is to give a big middle finger to opposing OCs, so I'd say we'll see him do that in some fashion.
Put enough bourbon in me and I can pretend. Put enough bourbon in the audience so they won't remember it.
I think Bud will load up the box with OSU having to go with young/inexperienced WR's due to the suspensions/injuries. I don't doubt that EE is a monster, but I'd take the under at 250 (I'd guess they'll hit the 175-225 range, though).
Haha, yeah, I'm sure dozens of us are operatically trained
Yeah, the end's sort of tough to keep up with, since they sing it all simultaneously. I thought about cutting some parts and really only leaving in the parts that sit out in front... But I didn't
Just 9 months ago.
Guy makes a commnet 9 years ago and later removes it.
Background check didn't catch it
They fire him the day after he's hired after some fan forwards the comment to the AD
Yeah, this looks real good for Nebraska
Honestly, I think this story pales in comparison to Patrick Combs "bilking" hundreds of thousands from two elderly women. I want to know those details.

Also of note, I know we have a couple more days of waiting...but COLLEGE FOOTBALL STARTS TONIGHT!
It's hard to hate you guys
A phrase never uttered to WVU fans in the history of mankind.

RB's you are willing to part with would be??
