Forecast is calling for a low around 60 that night with a pretty good chance of rain. Last Labor Day game I was in Blacksburg (GT in 2012), I recall a very mild night, probably around 70, and I was comfortable in a T-shirt and shorts through the duration of the game.
I actually just went and looked at the 10 day forecast earlier today, because the game is within 10 DAYS, and there's a 50% chance of a thunderstorm at 8 PM. But let's be real, that's 8 days out.
Haven't lived in VA since 2008 I've forgotten what "chilly" and "cold" are by VA standards. Seven years in Ohio with temps being below zero and well below with windchill means cold is FING cold and being in SC now cold is below 50. So at least for anOSU game what temp range am I looking at when game kicks off? 60's or 50's?
My daughter, she's 6 and it hurts her teeth, which are loose.

Generally, I would expect moderate temps for the OSU game, chilly but not awful on 10/3, and probably cold by 10/24. Anything else, I defer to our local meteorologist eshiben.
I think this lid would look best if we wore maroon jersey and maroon pants IMO. In all Orange or Orange tops I think if would look weird. Would have 2 different kinds of Orange going
I can understand your viewpoint. Right now, I'm not too amazed with them, but I have a feeling that under different lighting (Lane Stadium lights), they will probably look a lot better.
Agree with you on the balance. The throwbacks that are currently worn either don't have enough orange or don't have enough maroon.

# | Something (An orange chrome helmet) is going to be revealed soon oh, i realize the jerseys themselves are not coming back.....just the idea of that type of color combination is really what i was talking about.......and while I'm at it...am i the ONLY one who digs the all whites with the maroon lid?...something about the all whites always connected with me.....maybe showing how dirty you were by the fourth quarter sending a subconscious message to the other team....i don't know....
Probably in a very small minority, but I'm not big on these lids. Far from the worst we've had though.
Sadly, both of your yes votes are jerseys that I would be shocked for us to bring back... but I like the optimism

I just don't want ALL ORANGE. I'm not trying to look like Clemson out there. Give me maroon pants at least and I'm cool with it.
No wayyyyy. Those were cool at the time but Whit is certainly going the extra mile on things like this nowadays.
I definitely think there is going to be a special jersey for this game but I don't know how drastic it will be. Maybe just a little revamp to bring the look together

Wow this is definitely a sick helmet. The metallic effect plus the maroon face masks are what really set this one apart. The white face masks didn't look very good on the last ones. Big difference.
I expect the twitterverse to explode when we come out of the entrance on Labor Day, with similar reactions to Lebron James' endorsement of the Uni's we wore against Boise St. (Even though they weren't mt favorite)
Also think there's going to be a little something different with the jerseys to make the combo work.
