My fiance is a Buckeye as well. We'll be going to the game (driving down from Ohio Saturday). I've already been looking at mattress pads for the couch, even though the common threat has been sleeping outside.
Living in Ohio and generally not liking their fanbase makes it increasingly hard to be civil. However, as much as I behave, my neighbor (VT alum, not a huge football fan) will often open his mouth, say something priceless and I still get in hot water for it.

Rex wants Tyrod. I think the coaching staff wanting to give the Manuel and Cassel another chance is the only reason Tyrod hasn't been named the starter.
I'm pretty confident that Tyrod will be named the starter today, but since the Bills won't let it out too the public, we may not know until Week 1.

My concern is too much orange WITH too much maroon. One of those colors must be an accent, you can't do both as primary colors. Orange jerseys + maroon pants is bad. Maroon jerseys + orange helmets is bad.
If that's your helmet, wear it with an orange jersey and white pants and it will look great.

if I remember correctly, FSU has to send engineering students to a partner school because they don't actually have an engineering department. This is based on a friend who finished there in 2010, though. Might have changed.
Anyway, if he's serious about getting an engineering degree, it should be down to us and Michigan. Seems like an easy choice to me...

His recruiting blew up. We were in on him early, most of those teams weren't anywhere to be found until summer.
Our evaluation system is as good as any in the country.

Taking Physics as a Poly Sci major? I took Physics as a Liberal Art as a Soc major and it was one of the best classes I took at Tech, but things like Genetics, Physics, Chem and Biology were classes I avoided like the plague.
If we were to use it more than they do, it becomes our mistake, not theirs.

I don't mind it as a novelty, but let's keep our usual uniform simple, shall we? I prefer not to go the Maryland clown suit route. I don't really want uniforms that make this game "more special" than it already is. It should be business as usual. The way to get more attention is to win your games.

EDIT for clarity: I think we all knew/suspected by this point that the VT will be orange. I meant the VT looks like a solid filled sticker like last year's orange effect, as opposed to a "VT in space" (as you nicely put it) similar to the orange camo helmet.
I feel like it's not worth it any more. It tasted god-awful, and if its not gonna get me wired I'd rather drink something just as dumb but not quite as aggressive
