ITT: People thinking that EDSBS is serious
Some great stuff for Tyrod so far. Taking that sack to end the field goal attempt drive won't endear him though. You have to be good situationally to win the coaches trust.
The second drive through across the middle on 3rd down was a thing of beauty.
DON JOHNSON BACK ON TV? Gewwwwww.
I would do anything to have Taylor back as our QB.
Yep, after seeing him in that video I'm praying they put him on PR.
...are these bills made of glass?!? Good Lord
no one is saying he's bullet proof. I'm pretty sure everyone agrees that if he doesn't produce this season it's the end of him. All we're saying is that he deserves more time. This offense was one of the biggest dumpster fires in all of college football and it's absolutely ridiculous to expect significant changes in less than 3 years. Especially when you consider that he has had different quarterbacks each season that he's coached over the last 4+ years.
Good pocket presence and throw by T-Mobile
Tyrod is definitely showing up tonight, that can't be denied. Beautiful 3rd down 22 yd pass
I didn't like that defenseless receiver call..
Dang. He was perfect on that drive plus some scrambles until he took that bad sack. Whomp.
That's exactly what I was thinking. The TCU poster is A++
Big sack taken there in the Red Zone
Live on ESPN. Here we go Tyrod. Now or never, sucks he is missing top 5 running backs and top 3 wide receivers. Will be a challenge
Did you say rugby style punter? Hmmm...
This guy cannot possibly be serious that Bud would defect to the spawning pond of Mama Giraffe.
No doubt about it. You probably already know this, but Ohio State does something similar on kickoffs. They have all their defenders on only 2/3 of the field and typically kick the ball high and short of the goal line (we only have a 33.3% touchback percentage, 73rd in FBS) hoping to pin our opponent inside the 25. We do something similar with our rugby style punter.
I'm not sure what tactics VT uses on punts, but they obviously work extremely well.
@Horse - Thanks for the reminder. Hope this helps others.
Nice look. Although I googled Premium Lounge eleven warriors and all it gave me was a thread where everyone was pretending the Premium Lounge didn't exist. Found this instead
http://www.elevenwarriors.com/12th-warrior
The original "Premium Lounge" was a running joke amongst all the posters that had been there for a while. We'd tease the newbie's about the mythical benefits of getting to the 10,000 helmet stickers (helmet sticker = leg) point and entry into the PL. The 11W owners took the idea & ran with it to create 12W (nicknamed the Premium Lounge).
If Ohio State wins: 2.2, as they're now retroactively undefeated in 2014 and undefeated in 2015 and, if we're being technical, undefeated in 2016 and beyond. AND the Buckeyes didn't even need Joey Bosa.

that makes directional punting critically important. The art of punting isn't about kicking it as far or high as you can. Punting is all about putting the ball where there is the least likelihood of a damaging return.
Your website reminds me so much of what we have recently gone through at 11 Warriors. I realize all sites are different, but if you are interested in their non-paywall funding solution, go there and look up & 12W. I thought they had a really creative recent idea for their funding problems.
So I decided to be a good guest here & chip in my part of the beer money. Wish TKP all the success in the world.

Just noticed T-Mobile is back to wearing #5!
