Did you miss where he said "Vince Hall"?
Braxton is obviously a threat and Bud will be concerned about how he will be used.
The biggest threat is Elliott. That will be the defense's focus.
knawaz03 starts an argument
doesn't get people to change their minds and agree with him wholeheartedly
blames it on TKP clique-ness

NBC
I was thinking the yellow stripe in Nascar.
And goes along with the phrase earning your stripes. Given that the 9 keys resemble military stripes, it all works together.
Other than firstrowsports, how do i find a decent link to the ESPN broadcast?
Yea, I could see that. Reminds me of a fraternity more than a sports team, but it's all about development.
agree for sure.. however when Cardale comes in wouldn't it tip off VT as to whats coming ie ground and pound or a deep deep ball? The key for OSU is to make sure both QB's can be interchanged without skipping a beat/change of play calls
Easier to believe he delayed the NFL for one more year of anOSU football.
This show is the bomb.com despite the fact that it stars Christian Slater. He usually manages to get a show cancelled after only a few episodes. Lucky for us, USA renewed Mr. Robot for season 2 before the pilot episode.
Not what I was asking for at all. I don't care about scoring offense and TOP. This mini discussion was based on a fast offense being better when you have a great defense because your defense can bail you out when you go 3-out a lot. The point being that I imagine there is a correlation between the years we had top 5 defenses and the time of possession rankings for those seasons. If we have a ball control offense and a great defense, the other team has far fewer chances to score on offense if they don't have the ball for as much time through the game.
Seriously, if there ever was a situation where the Mike didn't have to worry about doing it all himself, this is that situation. There's never going to be more than one hole for the TB, and any ball thrown over his head is an INT. With coaching and practice Moto should be able to focus on quick decision making and attacking like the Marines.
well, and, goal achieved! So at least he's accomplished something that he set out to do. That's gotta be a positive
This post will auto-delete if proved to be substantively false.
Joe, can we see about having this system implemented next off season? I like it!
Agreed. His speed is lethal and if he's improved from 2013 (and it's hard for me to think he hasn't) he would be a tremendous asset.
Also to clarify from above, I wasn't saying that I thought he was bad, more saying why I think other people think he's bad. Other than the return game....that I will say he's not suited for.
love it.. Also I have heard SL say multiple times he wanted to create the best environment/offense for Logan to succeed/get drafted in the NFL, so technically you can throw out the 1st year.
this times 10000
I realize I'm jumping into the middle of a recruiting and talent debate, but all of this makes it sound like everyone thinks that SL came in and just took over Stiney's offense and tried to make chicken salad out of chicken shit. SL has his own offense and philosophy. It takes time to install a new offense. Also, this is the 1st year he'll have a returning starting QB to run his offense. Clearly our offensive performance has been, well offensive. But I'm not ready to declare SL a failure until at least after this season. And maybe not until after next when we see what one of his QB recruits is able to do.
I didn't mind it. First few days of camp, with a bunch of teenagers and very early twenty-somethings getting back to the grind. It's not the NFL, and they'll get deep into it soon!
I absolutely love the comment. I'm currently in grad school and I frequently tell people "I ain't come to play school" when I go to classes because it just takes time away from being in lab.
Yep very true. The fake jet sweep was so lethal last year when we faked it to Marshall or Elliott. I was screaming at the tv numerous times to run it more.
Calcium:bones::iron:blood
But Newsome didn't run the same sweep 6 times a game either. Baiting the D with 3 of those and then going play-action (and being successful) will keep that option open, but 6 jet sweeps by the same player in one game seems like a lot.
I can certainly see that coming from another fan base.
I loved it because it's cool to see a different side of the players you cheer for. And I always love seeing the nicknames the big brothers get every year lol. The first episode was about the players leaving and arriving at camp. Next week will probably have a lot more of practice.

First NC in 1924 under a guy named Rockne. And the next two in 1929 and 1930 under the same guy.
