Great post BuckeyeVet, but I don't understand this line.
7. Offensive line. This may be the key to the whole game. Last year we (admittedly) spent too much time preparing for Navy's triple option (any Georgia Tech flashbacks here, guys?). We were starting 1 veteran and 4 new players, and a QB who was in his second game.
Navy's triple option shouldn't affect your offensive line at all. Your scout team should be the ones running the opponents offense and your offensive line should be doing its normal thing. If it affects anything, it's your defense and defensive line. As someone who heard a lot of "reasons" why the Buckeyes lost last year (no Braxton, JT's second game, game of his life for Brewer), this just sounds like another reason that helps ease the pain of the loss but really is stretching it. Youth was an issue, but Navy's triple option was not the offense's problem
Yet boy bands have gone away while country has just gotten bigger and bigger. There are more country music stations in the U.S. than any other genre.
Also, Brad Paisley is a hell of a guitar player and I would put him up against almost anyone in a skill competition. So if it's talent you are concerned with, listen to this.

But just because you say it isn't good doesn't make it bad. I have never been to a city in America that doesn't have at least 1 country radio station. More people than not must enjoy it for that to be lucrative in any way.
This. I personally am not a fan of country music. Don't listen to it, don't care for it. But it's a draw, and from a business and marketing standpoint I'm thrilled it's happening. It makes the weekend an event.
Somehow I missed this thread, email was sent and all that.
I need that other last minute person to join up
Great insight, good to know.
Hope he stays healthy this year and runs as well as he looks!
At one point so were boy bands...
Just because its popular doesn't make it good
Country is one of the top grossing and top listened to music genres.
Thanks for the description. I'll try out a couple episodes next time I have free time that isn't eaten up by TKP.
Joe,
Would it be possible to have some sort of visual on the sidebar of how far the donation has gotten this year? I think having a sort of goal to strive for will make people more willing to donate!
Just my .02
Umm how did my picture from the firehouse get on the interwebz? Embarrassing.
This Wednesday? That's some serious pregaming
Joe is also an exotic dancer by night

oh wait, that's a different Joe. Ours is a karaoke star by night.
...why didn't I figure that PayPal took a portion? That was downright naive of me and now I feel like my recurring portion is an absolute joke. Im upping my contribution Joe
Thank you Joe and the staff for providing the most engaging forum and informative articles in the blogosphere and beyond. Happy to contribute what I can!
The Danny Coale Conference, where yelling "IT WAS A CATCH" gets you a point!
A 359lb 5* DL who can intercept passes?

Joe, I will send a check to the Orange and Maroon address after I see you confirm this is still correct. Thanks for a great site!
I always thought you just had to post in the new ACC logo with crazy font to insinuate sarcasm
Taking the WVU out of it, he's one of the biggest names in music right now and puts on a hell of a show. Those who attend won't be disappointed.
If you're Whit and planning this you only have so many option since the concert needs to be family friendly which eliminates a lot of artists. Of those choices Brad Paisley is one of the top options.
still not enough for condemnation IMO.
I dunno, I have to disagree a bit there. That little part took the OP from informative post discussing a topic of an upcoming opponent to something that was intending to be inflammatory. Pretty sure that's against the CGs.
long beach and Compton together now you know you in trouble

Evand and Humes were probably my 2 favorite RBs to ever come through Tech. Were they the most flashy guys who could burn you for a breakaway TD if you weren't careful? Nah, not really. Were they guys who could make something out of nothing if a play broke down? Nah. Were they guys who could change direction on a time and break ankles? Nope.
But these guys were workhorses. You knew if you handed the ball off to these guys 20 times a game, you're going to get nearly 100 yards on the ground. They were going to wear down the defense and were going to open up the rest of the field, and by the time the 4th quarter came around, our home run hitters would be connecting against a tired defense. And yet, these guys kept their mouths shut, did things right, and just worked their tails off to get us to where we need to be.
Honestly, this is why I'm excited to have Williams on the roster. He's a bruiser who will do this same thing. By the time his time has come and past I have a feeling he'll be on this list for me as well.
