I'll disagree. Cardale was entirely ineffective in the read option game and it limited OSU's play calling somewhat. He wasn't getting even 2-3 yards because he couldn't get going. Most of his rushing success was off of running when the play broke down, where he's way less dangerous than Barrett. It puts way more stress on the defense to have to truly account for multiple weapons in the run game. It got to the point with OSU last year where you could make a 5-10 minute video of linebackers/safeties losing "eye discipline" and taking a false step, thereby leading to big plays. That was easily 40-50% of their explosive running plays last year and it's part of what makes Urban Meyer's offense so great with the proper QB play. It's much more than just "busting a big run" it's the threat of doing so that would make him so challenging for our inexperience mike linebacker and safeties. With Cardale in the game, you want him to get the ball on those sorts of plays rather than giving it to Elliot. In addition, from what I saw he actually struggled more than Barrett at reading defenses and limits the offense more. I would much rather see Jones.
Something about a really easy African Studies program...
I understand my downvotes, but to be fair the title of this forum would indicate a purpose of shit talk. the title of the 11W forum that started this would also invite some shit talk. How will VT score was the topic and I post one of your scores. I though that to be relevant.
This thread is like buying bread from a man in Brussels....
Wait. They pulled a Wake Forest and moved their campus? To Philly??
Oh. My. God. I dont......
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You shut your mouth. Things can always get worse.

Did I miss any?
Ignore the words and watch the film. Watching the progress of the o-line from the UNC and Pitt games to the UVA game, the bowl game, and the spring game gives me hope. There's gonna be room for improvement obviously, but I think that they will be better at running the ball.
That's nice to hear, if for no other reason than human beings really shouldn't be allowed to live in the place I experienced for what should be 4-12 of the best years of their lives.
It has actually gotten A LOT better than it used to be. Having essentially grown up with NCSU being in my literal backyard, I've seen it develop over the years. There's a few places near Hillsborough St that are still dumpy, but they've put a lot of money into giving as much of the campus as they can a facelift. Centennial Campus is particularly nice.
Very quickly turning into an arms race between the haves and have nots. WVU just made a huge announcement today, after hiring Tyler Caldwell.
And UNC locked down Coleman Scott after firing CD Mock.
And UVA has got two monster assistants as well.
Turning into a keeping up with the jones act in the ACC.
Mine placed me on my favorite fishing hole in the river. I guess this map knew I'd rather be fishing than at home?
They have a lot of really good fans.
Unfortunately, they also have a very significant portion of the fanbase that is as in your face as it gets. When things don't go their way, this portion of the fanbase can get physical.
Man, NC State would have all kinds of potential if its campus wasn't such a dump. Played rugby there once, and 4 hours on campus was enough for me to want nothing more than to cram back into the van.
Enough that an athletic department employee confidently said, "people in Ohio aren't buying our tickets," or something to that effect.
I remember their fans being super nice last time they came to Blacksburg, and their repertoire of cheers was quite impressive.
Fair enough, I agree there.
Greg Stroman - or the "G-Stro Show" or "G-Stro Medicine Show" as he is known by me- is a classic hokie player/prospect. He was a middle-of-the-road recruit with strong work ethic and natural talent that just needs some time to develop. This will be great transition year for him to play Nickel, return punts/kicks, and make some splash plays on offense before locking down one of the corner spots next year.
How many is "many"? We need to roughly quantify how many of their fans will be in our stadium to witness the OSU heartbreak.

# | Hokies Use Preseason Practice to Retool the Secondary in the Wake of CJ Reavis' Dismissal Your second sentence was my point. I've already said I don't think cardale is going to be Michael vick out there, but he has the ability to turn a 2-3 yarder into a 4-5 yarder and set up manageable 2nd and 3rd down situations for them which is more dangerous to me than JT busting a decent run every now and then.
Can confirm #Sauces.
Er.... #Marinades.

Had mine up for 10,000 but no takers yet.
