One time I was playing NCAA football, and I got a DL recruit that was a bunch of meh, but when I looked into moving him to another position he graded out as something like a 97 as a true freshman at FB.

I'm guessing those coaches had something similar happen, and now they're constantly checking to see if there are better fits.

Well, I guess this isn't happening after all. I don't blame Vick for not wanting to sign to be a backup to Fitzpatrick. You can't convince me that a healthy Mike Vick isn't better than Ryan Fitzpatrick. I'm kind of annoyed at the whole narrative about Vick suddenly being awful and washed up now. Yes, he struggled and wasn't prepared at times last year, but he got a raw deal. He was initially told there would be a true QB competition, and he never really got any fair shot at the job. And how convenient for the Jets to give every impression that Vick was Geno's backup, then throw Vick under the bus for struggling in place of Geno by saying, "well we really hoped Vick would challenge Geno." I don't blame him one bit for not going back into that mess if they really think Fitzpatrick is their guy.

NC State is a great home game and will be in high demand. I can't believe Hokie fans have Pitt, UNC, Nc St on the home schedule and STILL complain. Those are all regional (some traditionally national powers..Pitt). We used to have home schedules like this: Rhode Island, JMU, Richmond, W&M....that was our 1980 Peach Bowl team's schedule

Couple things

1) As much as he has put his life into the team, did anyone really expect JCC to stay above a healthy Edmunds on the depth chart?

2) I am kind of scared about lining up a short running back as any type of receiver.

3) As much as Shai is doing a great job, I still think he and Marshawn should be redshirted if JCC, Trey, and McMillian are doing a great job.

4) Great to hear that Settle is living up to his hype.

5) I want the line to get the practice. It sounds like they are doing okay against one of the best Dline units in the Country.

Shane said he wants to do something in physical therapy.

Shane: "I don't know. I'm trying to talk him into coaching. I think he wants to be a physical therapist is the route he's going right now. He'd be an unbelievably good coach if we go that route. And when you watch him, it's hard not to picture him as a coach. But he's one of those guys that he can do whatever he wants. He's going to be successful at in life."

The cadet museum still has some of the chunks, including one from the engine block of a car that was parked, while the barrel I want to say is now over at the visitors center.

Even recently through modern Skipper has had issues. I want to say it was 2011 hen the firing pin broke off and they basically had to carefully unload the charge and then redrill the hole to be able to fire it again.
