The only track where the pit stalls are on the right.
I promise Im not trying to be prickly or abrasive by asking this, have you been to more than one VT game at FedEx?
No, but only because I don't live there anymore.
I was a Redskins season ticket holder until last year.
I can't tell you how frustrated I was when I used to hear, "Well, we're moving guys around a lot to see where they fit best, and then we'll have a starting 5 based on what combo works best together." I don't know diddly squat about offensive lines but I'm pretty sure that's not a good thing.
Like I've said before, I can understand scheduling ECU or ODU, but they should be filling the same spot, not two spots on the schedule almost every year, and you'd like to see one premium and one mid-range OOC game every year.
But just to be fair, they've scheduled some great top-tier games.

That's very cool. Seen these used in real estate ads. Like seeing it used for more enjoyable topics.
That's fair. I admit to not remembering the Cincy game even though i was present. For the best
Rivalry with ECU ??? Only in the minds of some delusional ecu people. U.................gggh. Would rather play 10 regular season games. You are correct Greenville & ecu & their fans have nothing of redeeming value.
Bruce Smith, all-time sack leader in the NFL and Hokie supporter was also pretty athletic. Check him out on the sideline next month against anOSU and tell me he couldn't suit up again, even though he's over 50.
Leg for mythology reference. Could also be used to describe LOLUVa having to play us year in and year out.
I don't think I knew about this when it happened, and somehow missed seeing it brought up for last year's game, but this is very touching. Classy move, Buckeyes. Hokie Nation appreciates it even now.
Reminds me of the huge outpouring of support we received after that tragedy from so many people and institutions.
He can probably do better than that. Losing muscle mass is a bit of a myth with those severe calorie defects. As long as you are strength training and getting enough protein you will retain muscle mass.
Yes....except against VT. In those games he had the stamina of Sisyphus
From my view point, the jury is still out on Shane's effectiveness and insight. His experience has given him the opportunity to see different competitive football organization function. He has to drawn his own conclusions and his own paradigm (buzz word that is not used much anymore) of priorities for successful coaching. (I forgot to use the current buzz word "innovate".)
As far as pure "experience" goes, I'm sure there are equipment managers that have worked under great coaches that have been on a number of winning teams going to bowl games, but they are still equipment managers. Their are not necessarily great coaching material by merely association.
10 years experience or 1 year experience time 10.
the good news is, even while he's dropping weight in a healthy way, he can be used in certain packages to blow up the O-line, assuming the coaches think he's good enough to contribute.
Newsome was very productive on the jet sweep last year against OSU
We gotta come up with something here...

That's gotta get settled.
It's great to be able to watch this group take shape and stabilize. That's going to go a long way for our offensive production.
I was at Boise and Cincy. They're a blast until you have your heart ripped out and i just feel like there is a stigma when it comes to playing in that stadium. But the again I have always been a little stitous
30 lbs in 3 weeks is a LOT. To lose that much, you have to run a serious calorie deficit and typically when you are on the big of a deficit, you are also losing muscle because your body consumes it for the protein. I am no nutritionist but I imagine he will not be losing that much weight that quickly.
Beamer stated he wanted him to drop about 20lbs which I think he could probably do by October-November.
I went to three: USC, Boise, Cinci. I had an blast at the first two (USC and Boise). I get that everyone hates Dan Snyder, and the location of Fedex but to me it is not a deal breaker. As long as it's a marquee game I am all for it every now and then
If that pic panned to the left a little bit, you could see my neighborhood.

Yep...I think I like the UVA analogy better
