Yep. I just looked. They are in England on Aug 30 and Canada on Sep 14.
lost their two biggest stars in Beasley and Anthony.
Their Tour Schedule kind of shows otherwise...
Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmm
Playing in Canada the following week...so not THAT far out of the country...
Appreciate the tweet. EddieVT, be sure to link or embed the source in the future, thanks!
While they are on tour there's like a 2 week gap in their tour with labor day smack dab in the middle if I remember correctly
I think it'd been discussed on here before but it's still awesome that Whit would even try.
There's a totally new approach at 25 Beamer Way, and I like it.
doubtful it will be the best secondary in the country. it's been regarded as a top 5 unit though from quite a few places, but that was also before losing CJ.

The tweet in question:
#Hokies AD Whit Babcock says he's reached out to Metallica about playing at Lane Stadium for OSU but they're out of the country.โ Mike Barber (@RTD_MikeBarber) August 11, 2015
A Hokie on a Horse on a Treadmill?
Is the secondary going to be as amazing as everyone thinks? Fuller is all everything and Faycson has the possibility of being very good assuming he's fully back from a broken leg and has knocked all the rust off. Chuck Clark looks to be good as well, however he will be playing a different position. We have an unknown at the other safety spot with the safeties the quarterbacks of the defense. I'm really worried that on September 8th we are going to hear a lot about blown coverages and people not being in the right positions to make tackles. Also, with the way our DBs cover receivers, I worried more than ever about pass interferences and "perfect passes" (think ECU).

Remember when he was going to wear that pink suit and fedora to the Heisman ceremony?
And of course, if the pro bass circuit doesn't work out for him, his time as a cop qualifies him for loluva's next head coaching vacancy.
Wait a minute...looks like the Bandit...last name Brewer...from Texas. So he's going to deliver a large shipment of beer from there to Atlanta...site of the Peach Bowl.
We're going to the Peach Bowl! It all makes sense now.
JACORY FOR HEISMAN!
pssh Thursday nighters are soooooo 2000s... we're in the 2010s now, and its cool to experiment with other days.
Remember when Randy Shannon brought in the #1 overall recruiting class, and they proceeded to peak out at what, a Sun Bowl berth?
They can recruit, but they suck at putting together football teams. Hell, even in their heyday, they were basically winning on talent alone. Once recruiting went national, their shaky foundation crumbled.
Yea, that's the pre-game setup. Only its usually on the west side of the endzone

# | Special Edition of ESPN's College GameDay is Coming to Blacksburg on Labor Day I'm not part of it, but there is a good chunk of BuckeyeNation that does not claim Kirk. It has been reported that Kirk had to move from a Cbus suburb to Nashville to get his family away from the loons. IMO, Kirk just told the truth about the Buckeye's shortcomings over the years, and there are certain fans who do not want to hear the truth, but would rather have the hometown boy be a blind homer. Kirk has a job as an announcer, pundit, and analyst. To have any credibility, he has to treat the Buckeyes like any other team - and I think he does.
I think his friendship with Urban is a stronger influence on him than being a Buckeye alumnus. But if he says positive things about the Bucks, I'd say it will be because he believes it. I also think that when VT (or whoever) exploits something, he will be critical of OSU. I think Kirk has always tried to play the role of serious, unbiased analyst. People can always construe things the way they choose to, but we can compare Kirk to someone like Mark May or Travis Clay who play the role of tweaking large fan bases and generating hate and controversy - and I think there is a clear difference in how Kirk approaches his work as opposed to those dickheads.
A smaller charge? I have only one question: Why?
There is a Monday nighter as well. Jus' Sayin'.
Wrong thread this isnt the UVa preview, I think you looked up UVa's talent and lack of head coaching.

Yep, that's the detail I remember.
And while I anticipate that Whit is the kind of guy who could get it done eventually, I don't see Metallica flying back to the states just for Labor Day.
