Not sure if sarcastic, or you don't realize "that Justin guy" is VTGuitarMan...
Congrats!!
I was surprised to only see 1 other ACC school in the top 25 defenses. And that was Louisville.
No FSU, Clemson or Miami.
Maybe our offense takes the needed step forward this year.
The water thing is a huge gripe of mine and I emailed Whit & staff last season about it (no reply). In the east stands people BAKE during the September games. I've seen people get heat exhaustion and worse, once vomiting because of the heat (not alcohol). The only relief is a $4 bottle of water and you need more than one to make it through. This is really criminal to hold people hostage like this. If there were water fountains accessible, it would be different, but there aren't (that I know of, and I've looked).
Here's hoping they reduce it significantly. I won't be impressed if it is only down to $3.
I don't care at all for the line "But as founding father Benjamin Franklin once said, "In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death, taxes and talented playmakers at The U".
I understand the attempt at humor here with the idea that they have talent, but this analogy doesn't really apply to Miami anymore. This idea maybe fit 15 years ago, and sure they have some talent, but it really doesn't make sense for Miami anymore. There are many programs that have much better talent coming in every year. And I think VT gets just as much talent as Miami and we obviously have better coaching. They have had higher ranked classes according to stars for lots of years but I'll take our guys any day of the week.
personally I think the roof should have a parabolic profile and be mounted on big actuators so we can tilt it to shift the focus. Let Bud decide who he wants to deafen each play. I'd assume it would be the center, but I'll leave the complicated decisions to CBF.
Tilt shift filter. If that's what you saw/thought, then it worked!
I actually emailed the stadium facilities people to find this out. No reply yet but I'll pass on the info. I've never seen any and I have looked...I'm sure it is intentional to keep you buying $4 bottles.
Interesting he stays ekanem is overrated. I understand why you would think so. With Dadi on the other side, and a great interior, the recipe is there to make any just capable end look really good.
That said, i think he is poised to have the kind of year to make the doubters sit up and take notice.
ETA: It's early to drink, but those are the rules.
I wonder if they will have a VT and Tenn car at the night race at Bristol next August.
every time I see this one I think "Not only can Wilson do back flips, but he hits the ground so hard, it bounces other players up like a dang backyard trampoline"
I just flipped thru about 6 of them, you are right, he's sharp. Case in point, in his top 100 players, he has Dukes Jeremy Cash #36. That's astute, not many national writers would appreciate a hybrid safety for Duke like that, but we know how great of a player Cash is.
He mentions Teller as a Breakout Player and Ekanem as an Overrated Player.
I will read more of his stuff this year.
something about the focus/lighting/whatever of this picture made me think:

.
They had skipper inside for the Miami game last year. And fired it off before the game, right before Enter Sandman.

In the gym, meh. Ont he field, 8 times, ok. Into the end zone for 6!!!!!! Giddy up.
That's nothing, you want to see real feats of athleticism?

Thanks for Lawson!
First depth chart out of Carolina has Boykin in a very hot seat. However, it looks to me like any legitimate position battles have the benefit of the doubt given to the incumbent for now. He'll have to earn it and I think he'll have to do it on special teams. He did poorly in spring OTAs but has improved a bit since then.
He might technically be on some heisman watch lists, but there is a popsicles chance in hell he wins it.
Well worth a turkey leg. Good research.
I thought the one in Miami was to hide the empty seats.
Eat some beans and carry a lighter
Don't look now, but #4 is Ohio State.

The only other ACC team on that list was Louisville...how is our conference defensive??
I would say we play in a low scoring conference or maybe that's just any opponent Bud faces.
