Watch the ESPN thing with Joey Galloway. It's above for reference and on 11warriors. MIller says it himself. But, I know he was just running routes and playing catch, not really playing the position. I know it's a work in progress, but he's not a natural at the position, that's for sure.

If he's having problems catching the ball without shoulder pads on and not in coverage, well, it's only going to get harder.

Aesthetically I think it could absolutely kill Lane, but let's say it is done well.

Acoustically it's not as simple as putting a lid on it to redirect noise. Not sure if you've been to Man United game or not, but Old Trafford's cantilever was not designed to redirect acoustics or even with acoustics in mind. They have had to hire engineers to try to fix the problem because some areas of the stadium are LOUD and others quite silent. And it's precisely because of the cantilever's that are effectively funneling noise out. That's not good. It also has to do with the club hemming in rowdy fans over the years, but even in times where the crowd is going nuts it isn't apparent.

Back in 2013 a plan to cover Old Trafford with a "sound cloud" was proposed but ultimately declined, but would have helped to retain crowd noise.

In the acoustic design it is better to have high walls and no covers than to have any covers at all. Unless it is a bowl type cover that completely surrounds the stadium.

In fact, I prefer that we don't do anything to it. I think having an open stadium with only 66k fans that produce one of, if not THE loudest fan noise is something that we all should be immensely proud of. And something that Whit and the Athletic Dept should do a lot more to promote IMO.

Hmm...now I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic...but if not...I think them saying he already knows how to run routes well is being very disingenuous. Actually getting that muscle memory and timing down, knowing how to beat coverage and not get jammed at the line against talented corners, and being able to catch the ball in traffic and be able to take a hit and hold on takes more than a couple months "on the down low" to become really good at. Being a QB and knowing the route tree vs. actually running the routes against talented DBs and LBs are different things. I just thought it was a little bit of a far-fetched statement.

My god, ESPN actually just used footage of Braxton and Galloway like a highlight and broke down Braxton's route running. The commentator said, "Being a former qb, he probably already knows how to run routes since he knows where he should be."
