Will they be allowed to actually play this year? The lawsuit is bringing up ALOT of dirt.
Good ones...
The Best Damn Band in the Land
Sorry, ACCylum reference, yes * is a buckeye so OSU. And they lost a lot of talent on O, have not decided on a QB yet and have even more starters suspended for our game which is why I am not sure they will be superstars on that side of the ball for the first game of the season.
"Being a former qb, he probably already knows how to run routes since he knows where he should be."

This guy (Matt Brown) is a good college football writer. He usually has couple articles every week.
I think he replaces "OSU" with a "*". Took me a few times to figure it out.
My $0.02:
Being a selfish college football fan, I don't like this move.
In my world, Braxton would have transferred to another prominent program with a QB deficit, rehabbed appropriately, and then returned to play starting QB.
The dude's a stud athlete, but he's a QB. I don't doubt that he will have some highlights in the role of H-back/WR but damn, he was fun to watch under center.

we play in a defensive conference and will only be facing two high powered O's in UNC and GiT
not sure if you're just referring to conference foes but our defense will be evaluated by everyone we play including non-conference match-ups, not just ACC teams and so therefore I think you could argue that we'll be playing against another high-powered offense in OSU. In fact, I would say that OSU's offense is more potent than GiT for sure and pretty close to the same as UNC
Please elaborate for those of us that don't play tweety birds
Nice write up, still not sold on our LB corps but hopefully they will be a pleasant surprise. Regardless we are probably a top 5 D, if only because we play in a defensive conference and will only be facing two high powered O's in UNC and GiT (maybe three with *, and 4 with Clemson in Charlotte?)
It's ESPN... They'd diagram Urban's next bowel movement to dissect how healthy his diet is and how it could impact their season if Ohio State allowed the footage.
I was an athlete growing up. Not much of a self-motivator now. I wish I had someone following me around, lighting a fire under my butt. Besides my wife.
On which part? Summer workouts can't involve coaches and if he can't throw the ball he isn't 100 percent healthy.

Damn. I'm not good at these riddles. I wonder what it could be.
I'm normally really good about figuring out acronyms but

I LOVE this idea. Someone get this to Whit quick
great idea
maybe with historical bench marks as well of past games.
The science part of your post is sciencey. Well done.
I think having an open stadium with only 66k fans that produce one of, if not THE loudest fan noise is something that we all should be immensely proud of. And something that Whit and the Athletic Dept should do a lot more to promote IMO.
In regards to this specific thought, I think we need an honest decibel meter that can be displayed on the new HokieVision during third down plays as a standing challenge to the crowd to be louder. When the decibels hit a certain threshold such as "747 at takeoff," that could flash on the screen for a moment. Have the decibel record clearly marked on the meter so fans know how close they are to breaking it. Etc.
I know a lot of venues do the fake meter-looking animation included in the "make some noise" video, but having an honest one could add something to the Lane experience.
Haha, I'm well aware. 'Twas a joke.

Man I am super excited to see McMillian this fall. I don't think I've read anything negative about him. Always praise. Looked good in the spring game from what I recall as well. I don't know how many touches he'll get against OSU but I bet he gets a good work out in the Furman game where we really see what he is capable of.
