If you burn a redshirt, you'd better have a good reason for it. "Getting more experience" is a contradiction here, because you are throwing a year of practice out window on the off chance that he leaves for the NFL in 3 years.

As I said, I don't think they're actually likely to win it, but I like the 28:1 odds there. I think this will be a down year (relatively speaking) for the SEC, with a lot of very good teams, but no great ones. That gives UGa a fighting chance to win the conference and get into the playoff, where anything could happen.

The story would have worked better if they had about 4 more episodes to work with.

There are just too many players and complexities for it to be absorbable in just 8 episodes.

I dont think a lot of people are saying he should come in and be the starter, but want him in on certain packages.

The weigh out is:
If he's good enough to be a potential high round pick in 3 years, you put him in on certain packages, so he has more time to learn the offense first hand and get game reps.

I like how that description transitions from "At the formal hearing you can expect to "be heard." The meeting or hearing is not an opportunity to "defend yourself"" to near the end of the description "the outcome of the formal hearing will be determined solely on the basis of evidence presented"

To me this structure is quite flawed and on top of that, the way it is presented sets accused students up to be unprepared for the type of questioning and accusations they'll be targeted with at the hearing, and thus mount a poor defense.

Lawrence is only about a half hour or so from Kansas City. It's not Manhattan (NYC), but it's much closer to an urban area if that floats your boat.

Lawrence is also a nice college town, not unlike Blacksburg. And probably hillier...believe it or not.

I was hoping this stat would take the pain away from losing to them in the Orange Bowl...but nope, it's not really doing it. Still trying to figure out how we lost that one.

We had a lot of first and tens last year. And 2nd and 11s. and 3rd and longs. Our defense got us the ball back quickly though so we had first and 10 often.

Me too. I was always high on him. I thought we needed to go to him more often. He was never happy here though. I don't know how happiness is in Kansas, but best of luck to him.

I thought so too from his twitter comments. Was hoping he'd have a "I'll be back" kind of moment.

Nope... Josh won't be back...

He already used a medical hardship waiver, his freshman year.

Don't see how he should be eligible without sitting out a year, unless he graduated.
