Stanford, who caught 40 passes for 640 yards for the Hokies as a redshirt freshman in 2013, was limited by injuries last season. His scholarship status is unclear, but he appears to be eligible to play right away. Stanford, who attended high school in Lithonia, Ga., was a three-star prospect out of high school and could aid a thin receiving corps.
