Mark Richt has struggled consistently in the SEC East, the obvious little sister of the Sec West. Anytime Bud has struggled, it was never consistent. He has always adjusted.

Likelihood be damned for this thought: It'd be neat to see Bud Foster next and then Torrian Gray after.

If BF doesn't get the job, I hope he goes to a rival so that he can pound VT every year. VT would have been awful without him this past decade.

What I'm trying to say is that if we were to go to a National Championship with Rich Rodriguez, chances are he would be offered a job the next day in the NFL, or a higher paying college job. If Tech were to win a National Championship with Bud, he would probably stay (I'd like to hope), and we know we'd have a championship coach every year thereafter.

The first group of examples were admittedly a bit absurd, but I was having trouble thinking of less absurd examples. Given Turk's reaction to everything, it could be something that absurd though. That said, I think that the sexual harassment or question of sexual consent options are most likely. Turk's comments about how the DA wouldn't touch the case leads me to think that its something where there is a comparable charge that could be brought in court but the offense itself or the evidence for it doesn't meet the standard required to bring charges. I tend to think that it is something sexual because colleges have gotten hyper-sensitive about that type of thing and federal policy changed recently to encourage a lower Preponderance of Evidence standard of proof in college judiciaries when sexual complaints are considered. Also most of the examples that I've seen of colleges being sued by men after disciplinary hearings involve alleged sexual assault and usually also involve a lack of due process, some examples being linked below:

We probably don't land Lawson without SL and definitely would not have landed Joshua Jackson. These are top notch QB recruits. QB's want to play for this guy. I believe the offense will get going under SL soon and we will be happy.

I found a hotel in Roanoke with openings, not going to give it away until after I book today when we know for sure we have tickets. But stay tuned if you are still looking.

So far it seems that way. Out of the top 10ish kids last year it looked like bracey, davis and rene were the only real possibilities.

For 17 we've had hunter and the OL crew (laborn, Crosby) on campus a few times and they've spoken positively and they are the top 3 in state. ewell I would have felt better about if we had landed wayne davis, so not sure if that will have a negative impact on us as well. I've heard positive things about ellis brooks from Benedictine and Dylan rivers is a LB I think we get. Tajh capeheart is another OL guy who has been here a lot.

The sculpin was ok imho, but the Grapefruit Sculpin is bangin. I can't stand grapefruit on its own, but in the IPA it provided a great balance. We have a local, RAR, that has done a grapefruit version of their Naticoke Nectar that may actually be better than the Ballast Point. In fact, getting a few growlers filled today of it before it runs out.

I don't like most session beers and wheats, depends on style. I think most American style wheats are blah ... but if it's a good Berliner or gose, I'm all in.

vehemently disagree that ipas aren't summer beers.

It's a tough call. He has earned a shot, but you have to consider the other options. If it's Bud or Mark Richt, I pick Mark Richt. If it's Bud or PJ Fleck, I pick Bud.

We aren't going to know the context that Whit will be working under. He hired Buzz Williams, so I trust in Whit to make the right decision.

Tip for the AirBnb folks: Some friends of mine have a couple of vacation rentals that are also offered on AirBnB, but if you book through Air, you will be paying more for the same thing as you would if you called my friends and booked through their website. They shake their heads at folks' tendency to do what's "trendy" or maybe just folks' laziness and willingness to pay the extra just to avoid a little searching, but certainly welcome the biz. I don't know jack about Air, but seems like if I could save 15-20% (or whatever Air charges), I might spend a few extra minutes.

Did tOSU not realize they were going to be playing football for the entire year? You play the game on the schedule that week. Plain and simple.
Show up prepared. No excuses. The game is decided on the field, not based on experience, or number of starts, or how well the team played the game before....

Don't forget that Kendall Fuller played with a bum wrist for a majority of the season, our run game didn't improve until Wyatt Teller played guard, we always played with a somewhat limp Wang, and Michael Brewer got the sh!t knocked out of him every game leaving him battered and bruised. But that didn't contribute to ANY of our losses...
