Who should Bud hire, if he's the HC? To me, the proof is in the pudding and the pudding isn't only in the WL record in the years where scot had to rebuild a nuke-bombed shantytown. We're landing really good offensive players at every position and I would be reluctant to put that at risk.

Wow, this is big especially when you consider the loss of Bosa. I'm hoping between that, the loss of two other OSU D-lineman, and an improved O-Line on our part; we can really play a grind it out, run the ball down there throats kind of game. Also, I hope the defense as a whole doesn't get complacent with OSU's receiver depth taking a hit. I'm sure Meyer will utilize Braxton Miller in the H-Back roll occupied by Marshall. They also have Elliot at RB and more experienced O-line than the one we played last year. This is good news for our guys no doubt about it, but it by no means makes it an automatic win (I don't think anyone implied that, I'm just saying.)
That being said, I'm going to be in Blacksburg for the NC State game and it would be awesome to be undefeated going into that night.
I just cannot get over that as an actual recruiting pitch.

We landed 2 WRs at 6'3" with great speed. Whether I am right or wrong, I really don't care what else happens this class. Win. We are diversifying the types of high quality guys we land and if this team ever wants to truly compete for the title again, that's the most important thing. No team gets everyone they want.
Just an FYI face value for OSU is $110 soooo it is helpful. Just not market value.

agree. Just enough south to avoid harsh winter, just north enough to avoid harsh heat and humidity. Charlotte folks can be a bit snobby but the coast is amazing.

My #sauces inside the athletic dept tell me this may have something to do with CJ's dismissal and more importantly the role Melvin may have played in the hearing as a witness or some kind of evidence he produced against CJ. Some players are not happy about it and Melvin didn't see himself as welcome back into the locker room.

I think bud to hc is the absolute best decision moving forward. Move TG to DC but still have Bud heavily involved in the defense...
So this next opinion of mine will be unpopular, but I'd hope Bud would find a better OC... (if he proves otherwise by seasons end I'll gladly eat crow, but I'm just not a fan of SL)

Actually our QB had LESS practice reps than your QB did, both your backups had the entire Spring practice and every practice up until the start of the season. IF Urban Meyer failed in his job to get them prepared to start then thats on him... Brewer didn't get on campus til the Summer, and didn't have any team practices until the Fall. Somehow our coaching staff got our new QB ready to go while yours failed??
