There are a lot of fans and even schools that make things like that and recruits will post. I think he thought it was cool and shared it. I've seen some of our players and recruits post stuff like that before they officially committed.

Is anyone concerned at this point in the recruiting process for the Class of 2016 that we have the #50 ranked recruiting class per Rivals?

I mean, I have faith that we'll end up higher than that, but it just seems like we're off to a 'slower' start than normal.

Stroman is an interesting case. I thought he had a terrific game in coverage against Cincinnati. However, in the spring, Stroman was victimized deep numerous times while Bud featured his as the top field corner. Isaiah Ford in particular beat Stroman badly on several double moves, including two in the spring game. One went for a touchdown from Michael Brewer. The other was a bad overthrow by Brendan Motley.

The reason that I didn't mention him was because of the void created with Clark moving to safety. Bud needs a nickel corner who can play the full whip responsibility. Alexander was a former safety and played around the line of scrimmage as a high school player. Reynolds was even more dynamic around the line of scrimmage, where he was one of the leading tacklers on his team and showed a knack for avoiding blockers and putting runners on the ground in traffic. Stroman wasn't asked to do much in run support in that Military Bowl matchup, and while he conceivably could rotate in if the nickel was struggling in coverage, I would imagine his future is outside.

so I'm at work and my math was kinda funny (wrong) but I was mostly joking. The point I was getting at was that if all of the voters who didn't pick LOLUVA last picked them to finish 1st or 2nd then it would take fewer dissenters to reach a total of 220

GT 1.7 th place
VT 2.7 th place
UM 4 th place
Duke 4.1 th place
Chapel Hill 4.3 rd place
Pitt 4.6 th place
and UVA 6.6 th

So the tiers were: [Top] GT, VT; [Middle] Miami, Duke, Chapel Hill, Pitt; [Bottom] UVA

Any Clemson pick is just an anti-FSU pick. FSU lost a lot as well, so somebody has to win.

I'm a Coastal believer this year. I think we could 2 to 4 teams ranked throughout the year with as many as two teams finishing higher than any Atlantic team.

my thinking was this:
if all 158 voters picked them for last place, they would have gotten 158 points (given my scoring system)
They got 220, not 158
220-158=62
Therefore, worst case, for them, 62 voters picked them for 6th and the remaining 96 picked them for 7th
62x2+96x1=220
