Some people said RMFW (r-Fr) had fumbling issues when he muffed the punt return against Bama and his most untimely fumble that same year in the home night game against UNC. Darren Evans fumbled in the final drive of the loss to JMU GAME THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I remember people calling David Wilson a fumbler too. Point being, Marshawn was a true freshman last year who was trying to adjust to the speed of the college game, I think he'll grow out of it.
I know we have so many reasons to be hopeful for the upcoming season, particularly on defense but every day we get closer and every time I see someone on the defense put on an award watch list or projected as a first rounder I get so dagone nervous. I've heard the "we're gonna be the best defense in the nation" spiel before and something always seems to come up that derails it.
Ugh, I just want the season to start so we know what we have.

I like Williams future, but if the depth we have stays healthy, the last thing we need to do is waste carries on a less than 100% back with fumbling issues.

I plan on the Ohio State Buckeyes following a different path this year. :)
If he's 100%, keep him as the 4th string. He can RS unless he absolutely has to get in there.
Agreed, both Williams and McKenzie should redshirt this year. We have enough other RB talent with Edmunds, Coleman returning as well as a redshirt back that wants to take over for Coleman next year.

Once the coaches finally realized that they started him on more crossing and come back patterns.
I like your world better, FWIW.
It's a perfect tackle. Wraps him up and puts him on the ground. Hard.
marshawn also said he was 100% with his last injury and we all saw that the coaches thought otherwise. I expect him to redshirt 1000%
If he is performing at 100%, suit him up.

It looks like he's going to be a difference maker over these coming years for those players with talent who never quite emerge from the fringes. And, singling him out because of those moment two years ago he flashed at us, I have felt there is something in Knowles too. Were I his coaches I'd try early in the season to put some confidence in him with both short and deep stuff. We need a Willy Byrn spellbreaker who can pop the long ones. He could really open up the other guys in front of him so they are not overworked.
It couldn't have gotten a whole lot worse than that game so he probably figured there was no where to go but up.
Then we had a bye-week against WF.

I don't think it is something gray area like that. If for example the University was throwing him out because he was repeatedly caught with marijuana then the question would be: why not call the police?
I agree with most that it was something to do with academics. But I do understand your point.
odd. losing to VT turned out pretty well for you last year. You guys should come to Blacksburg and throw the game. remember superstition and sports go hand and hand.
Made up this trailer hitch cover for my truck a few years ago. I have an Alumni frame that you can see part of as well, but haven't gotten around to getting a custom plate yet.
Thought the same thing...it's going to be quite an adjustment...
