His dad moved from the Redskins when Joe Gibbs left to become the D Coordinator for the Saints either his junior or senior year. He paid to install a high tech video recording system at Chase' high school with one stipulation. That immediately after each game, the school FedExed him a DVD of the game and gave another to Chase. They would then sit down at some point (Mondays?) and review game film to improve on Chase' play.

But in 2008 before Chases junior season at Loudoun County, there was a decision to make.
Gregg moved on to become defensive coordinator with the Jacksonville Jaguars and brought along Blake, who had been a coaching intern with the Redskins after playing at Princeton (Who goes to Princeton to become a football coach? wondered Gregg).
Chase stayed behind with his mother, Leigh Ann, helping Loudoun County earn its first playoff berth in several years.
The next year, Gregg came to New Orleans, and this time Chase considered transferring for his senior season. But the difficulty of graduating at midterm so he could enter Virginia Tech in January and the desire to stay with his team won out.
But the Williamses still managed to stay in touch football-wise. Gregg donated state-of-the-art video equipment to Loudoun County so that on the morning after games Chase could overnight a DVD to his father and brother. Theyd spend Monday nights critiquing his play.
Wed wait for those tapes with bated breath, Gregg said. He was doing really well, so it was obvious his mother had been working with him.
Chase did do well. He was first-team All-State and an All-Metro Washington selection. The Roanoke Times rated him the No. 11 overall prospect in Virginia and Rivals.com called him the 12th best inside linebacker in the country.
He had something like 163 tackles his junior year in HS. I don't care what team he played on that's a beast in the making.
Well considering it happened 15 minutes ago, you could have been the first!
yup that's me
I too am #TeamChaos
I am surprised that no one has pontificated on the possibility of their basketball team needing work since their NCAA tournament is over and all that could go along with that.
I'm just going to leave this below

Good writeup on Chase Williams, makes me a little more confident
This year's tourney is incredibly satisfying.

There were at least two dumpster fires going between the stadium and downtown after that game.
That's the one! Thanks!
P.S. - I actually saved this for future use as MercerWhiteBoyDance.gif
Duke treating NCAAs like 'our last game'
This was the WRAL headline this morning down here in Raleigh. Have to admit, the prognostication skills of the editor are awesome.
Mighta been me. You're welcome
Correct. Every study of sex that I know of has begun with a survey. And being that this is a study about human sexuality by humans there is no way to take out the bias completely.
with as bad as VT has been, I don't really care right now how good the ACC looks in basketball.
In fact, if the ACC looks incredibly weak in the Tourney, it takes a lot of the air out of the Hoo sails right now, and thats perfectly fine to me.
*Sniff
Our ltrepeter went off and made himself successful. So proud
Love it, ltrep
Whoever put the counter up to +9 and in the process gave me turkey leg #3,000, I appreciate it.
So when LOLUVA loses to my Chanticleers tonight that leaves Pitt, 'Cuse, and potentially UNC (although, they could easily lose) left in the tournament representing the ACC. I'm not counting L'ville yet (when does that become official?)
ACC doesn't look very good
Every human on earth would have to fill out about a billion brackets, and all would have to be unique to guarantee a winner.
But that's assuming every game is a 50/50 toss up, which isn't really accurate. Just assuming that all the 1 seeds win their games against 16 seeds eliminates like 8.65 x 10^18 possible outcomes.
You just churned out that gif in about 15 minutes after this aired

This is the gif I use for celebrating things from now on.
I think Mercer celebrated on behalf of everyone.

Hey guys I just did my write-up for the wuvt weather station on my forecast and frankly this thing isn't looking to bad, I'd expect a light dusting probably 2-4 inches in the blavksburg area up into the Shenandoah valley, further east will see a few inches as well but nothing to significant.
Here comes the good news though!!!!!! This is it for winter weather. And I mean it. Hold me to this. Do whatever you damn well please because I'm very confident this time. The extended plots on the models are showing that after this cold front blows through the freezing line and cold air almost dissapears off the map. Expect temperatures to climb back up by Friday and expect our severe weather season to begin shortly afterwards!!!!!
Now wish me luck on my physics test. Yay magnetism and electric fields ...
Go hokies!
