How does Ole' Miss' 8-man front compare to VT's in terms of NFL projections of players? Because they haven't had too much trouble recruiting defensive talent, relative to them being Ole' Miss.

If it were just Bud, maybe. The entire defensive staff...it's probably a "sharing notes" kind of thing. I'm sure Ole Miss got more out if than Bud and the guys did, though that's not saying they didn't learn a few things.

Gotta disagree about the douchy part. He's more family man than Ray Lewis type. it's true but, U. of Delaware is not snobby and a good engineering school to boot.
He's just quiet and a Dad type. I can see how he can be viewed that way. Let me paint a picture for you. Tom Brady could be seen as douchy, I mean, look at how he dresses. then realize he dresses like that because he doesn't care. No question, Weaver did a great job and was the perfect guy to get the program into the ACC and where we are now. That said, now it's time for a younger guy with a vision for really taking the athletics department to the next level.

Just off the top of my head don't most $EC schools allow media at the pro days? I remember Cam Newton's, Tebow's i think. I know tech normally doesn't, but didn't know what the rest of the ACC and other schools normally do.
