That is a very interesting point. Getting targeted often when you are getting your hands on 1 out of 3 passes suggests you are lined up on the best receiver, or at least the quarterback's favorite target.

Any idea how he selected the two groups? Seems like K. Fuller bested both. I asked him on Twitter if he had considered who was on the other side of the field, since Kyle defended well, but still seemed to get a lot of targets. You would think they'd throw somewhere else.
I would imagine if he is transferring for playing time, he would take a serious look at the odds (competition for the spot). The job is definitely open, but he would have to beat out a number of other challengers. So question #2 for him should be 'where do I want to go for grad school the next two years'. His degree will be in psychology. How does this work...is he also eligible for scholarship?

I have no answers, except for your last question: no.
I'm not too concerned and there are some silver linings.
a.) I imagine he got swept up in the moment being offered at a camp in person by the coach himself. It's probably hard to say "no".
b.) This removes the idea that the coaches "have one" for his position and cool on any other targets that they would consider.
c.) Other targets at the same position won't write us off because we already have his commitment.
Overall, it is just too dang early in the process for me to be upset at a kid for stepping back and taking a longer look at things. He is deciding about the next 3-5 years of his career after all. Hopefully we can get him back to the 'Burg again in some warmer months and VT can work its magic on him again and he'll stick with us.
