I live just off main street in Christiansburg and haven't seen a plow. I walked down to main street and it was plowed tho not great. They have a bigger problem right now...an 18 wheeler is rolling backwards down main street, couldn't make it back to 81 I guess
Go pack go! I honestly don't think he is worth the amount he wants based on his play this year BUT since our depth is so thin and it's hard to find men that size and lane clogging ability we might have no choice but to pay the man especially with how terrible the defense was last year...
The main reason for the struggles is talent. When you have 2 walk-ons playing significant minutes to go along with mid-major scholarship players, it's a struggle to play in the ACC.
As a side note, this team is terrible in setting screens and getting past screens. That is reflective of coaching.
Classes just got canceled for the second day in a row. Crazy. But there's still a foot of snow on the ground that hasn't been touched.

I made it to Lexington Wednesday morning for work, but left after an hour and a half since only about 20% of the plant showed up. Took me an hour to get back up I-20. The dog and I have been lounging all day Thursday.

Look: looking at how many players we lose to teams that are already stacked with 4*s at the same position, I don't know just how much improvement we can hope to have without a recent resume of marquee wins.
I do like the direction our recruiting is headed.
I love the Blacksburg area. Grew up in Craig county. But there are certain features that make it a hard sell for the average teen where "fun" is based on amenities that Bburg has in short supply, or doesn't have at all.
But there are certainly attainable goals for recruiting improvement, and one of the avenues to reaching those goals is to recognize that "gentleman's" rules regarding recruiting are a suicide pact. You recruit the players you want until signing day.
You can bet your ass your competitors are.
Town of Christiansburg plowing has not come by the house on either adjacent street (corner lot) yet. I am a little disappointed in them, I live right off 114 not far from the mall not in the middle of nowhere.
