It's possible I suppose that a late unknown OL addition could happen. But there are already 4 OL recruits plus Pfaff coming in, few remaining open slots, and 4 or 5 key recruits that slots are likely being held for. Also, most of Searles' recruit network is a long way from here. And all other things being equal, it's a lot easier for LSU/Grimes to steal a couple of Texas recruits at the last minute due to geographic proximity.
It's actually at 8:00, unless something has changed.

The reason I threw out Strock's name is because he saw time on the field and managed the game on one of the greatest dynasties in the history of the NFL. I also feel that Strock's position carried slightly more significance than Prioleau (not to knock him) who was at the end of his career.

Pierson Prioleau also played in and won a ring, but he wasn't mentioned either because he did nothing of significance.

# | Bitter blog - Looking back at the Hokies' 2009 recruiting class five years later This goes to show you that regardless of how excited we get on NSD and regardless of stars, it is still a crap shoot for how these kids will translate into the college game. Of the 22 signed schollies only 11 contributed significantly in a starting role and several even at different positions. Here is to hoping we improve our evaluations for thier true positions and utilize their talents accordingly.

Chancellor has an argument If you and anyone else bothered to read all of my posts I NEVER stated that I disagree or have any problem with Bitter's thread or article. Like just about everybody else on here I respect, admire and agree with just about everything he puts up (although if he does what vtfly suggests, that seriously puts his character into question). I was only interjecting another Hokie that played in a SB (Strock for the Dolphins). If Bitter feels that Strock's involvement and performance in the Super Bowl is not worth mentioning (as it would appear) that's his deal. I was just throwing his name in there. Don't really see anything wrong or counter with doing that. Jeeze, lay off the heroin (sarcastica) folks.
