I'd like to believe that this letter contained a coupon for free Cold Stone "Gotta-have-it" size
But we've know this for years
I just went from six to midnight. BillDozerVT so hot right now, BillDozerVT.
I learned to appreciate what we have in LT. He is frustrating at times, brilliant at others, and was a great program representative. When he is gone it will be back to square one with a starting QB, someplace VT fans have been both excited and cautious about.
I'm not so sure about that, there is only one guy on the field who can pull this off and that is Fuller 4th.
If James Gayle tries this, he would be ejected for contact with an official. I think the ref saw who it was and thought "Damn, I got to get some dap from a Fuller. SWEET!"
I learned early to never be out of bourbon
Good synopsis.
Thanks for posting.
Clean that ish up.. No idea what I am looking at other than ranking %'s

If we sign the same caliber of player, we will get the same caliber of results, (or worse. See 2012, 2013 seasons.)
I'd be interested to see the results of the experiment of Beamer, and Co. play the game with a few more big-timers on the roster.
I'm behind you with your math...Recruiting them is one thing, coachin' 'em up is something entirely different. We know we can do that on defense but I think the jury's still out on the offense. I think that a strong recruiting class is a positive sign, for sure, but we have to wait and see how they're developed. I'm tentatively excited about this class.
Kinda right, depending on what criterion you want to use. It could be our best ever for 4 and 5* recruits with one more 4* commit, but it will fall short on avg. * ranking with the potential to finish 4th or so.
Table doesn't paste with correct tabs, so the order is year, then Rivals rank, #players, 4*, 5*, avg *, then Scout Ranking and avg. *.

This year is actually just the 7th best year for Avg. * (3.07 behind the 3.26, 3.25, 3.18, 3.10, 3.09, and 3.08) rating but tied for the largest # of Elite (4 & 5*) players with 2012 @ 7. We could break that record with our last 2 targets being 4* and that would bring us to a 3.14 avg ranking, placing 4th overall since 2001.
VT has had as few as 3 and as many as 7 elite players in a year.
VTs lowest Rivals Avg. * rating was in 2007- 2.73 and highest was 2013-3.26
VTs highest Rivals Avg. * ratings were 3.25 and 3.26 in yrs we recruited fewer than the limit of 25 at 19 and 20 respectively.
Wish I could be there!!! I'm actually in the process of trying to get a job in the area, so hopefully I'll enjoy some games with the crew at Wilson Tavern next season. Go Hokies!! I hope everyone who is there has fun
Hey Mike London, how's the off season treating you?
I like to think of *s this way: Theres a 90% chance a 5* will be a stud, 60% a 4* will be a stud, and 30% chance a 3* will be a stud. There is always the possibility that any player could be a stud or a dud but obviously your best probability of finding said stud is to maximize 4 and 5 *s. That said, theres no harm in gettin a little circle jerk action going for VT recruiting this many 4*s IMO. I know I'm excited for the future of VT football and what these new coaches have shown through recruiting.

(EDIT: Who farted? according to Google Translate)
Winner. All the turkey legs.
Very nice breakdown French.
Well...fuck.
All you need is 757
This also made me actually LOL. I appreciate the bluntness. We do have several 4 stars on the bench that never quite panned out...
Looks like Santa came late this year, a post-Christmas VT hype video! Tip of the cap, Dozer and Co. well done boys.
This day just got a lot less productive for me.
Dont know why but this made me crack up. I think its OK for a small circle jerk to celebrate where we stand so far, but I agree. Let's see how these guys all end up playing on the field.
So UVA's recruiting budget is higher than VT's? Must be to pay for all the stamps and UVA letterhead for Coach Fondu to contact recruits.
After 2 straight years of less than 1,000 yards COMBINED from the RB spot, I am all for the shotgun approach. Recruit a ton of them and hope that one is a stud.

I think that this means that this class will be judged by the watchful gaze of Old Han Solo; and only with his approval will it be deemed a success. Maybe?
